SCORE cardiovascular risk calculation table
The Systematic Coronary Risk Evaluation (SCORE) was developed by the Society of European Cardiology. The table is intended for self-determination of the risk of stroke and death.
As follows from the scale, the risk of dying from cardiovascular disease in a 65-year-old smoking man with an average systolic blood pressure of about 180 mm Hg. and total cholesterol of 8 mmol / l in the next 10 years is 47%.
Table parameters
To determine use the parameters:
- age from 40 to 65 years - five pairs of squares (the division value of the horizontal scale is 40 years - 1 cell = 2 years, from 50 to 65 years - 1 cell = 1 year)
- the gender of the person is at the top of the table.
- attitudes towards smoking - see the top of the columns in the table.
- cholesterol level, scale from 4 to 8 mmol / liter (laboratory blood test results), round to whole digits.
