Water diet

The water diet is an alternative weight loss option for people with a need to lose extra pounds and a strong reluctance to limit their diet. The most important condition of the diet is to consume high-quality purified water. The volume of water drunk per day should be at least two and a half liters.

The schedule of water intake (approximately 7-9 glasses) is as follows: drink a glass of water (drink slowly) 15-30 minutes before meals, and the same amount after 2 hours. Do not drink during meals. All the water you drink during the day will bring your digestive system back to normal, suppress hunger and eliminate the need for snacks.

Studies have shown that if you drink 0.5 liters of water before meals, you will lose 44% more weight in 12 weeks, compared to those who do not focus on water.

Compotes, fruit drinks and natural juices do not belong to pure water, therefore they do not count. The only exception is green tea, which, on the contrary, will be useful to include. Carbonated drinks are completely prohibited.

Give up all salty and pickled foods, smoked meats, mayonnaise, hard cheeses, sauces, canned food. They have a very high salt content. The feeling of thirst can be caused by sweet fruits, eat them in limited quantities.

Plus the water diet - there is no need to globally change the diet. It is enough to introduce some changes: instead of soda, tea, coffee, beer and alcoholic drinks, drink water. For those who associate coffee with joy and peace - add a glass of water to each cup of coffee. The correct application of the water diet in seven days will save you three kilograms, and the result is felt already on the third day.

Water-tea diet

The water-tea diet is a very effective method of losing weight. Its duration is one month, during which weight loss can reach 8-10 kg. This diet, in addition to weight loss, helps the body to remove accumulated toxins. The diet is based on the use of green tea, which is rich in tonic substances. Its constituents are able to block the breakdown of carbohydrates and their absorption by the body. Green tea has the ability to slow down the aging process, and weight loss is harmless.

Green tea is one of the most effective slimming teas as it contains a lot of catechins - natural antioxidants that speed up metabolism and burn fat. In various studies, people who consumed green tea for 12 weeks lost significantly more body weight, fat and waist circumference compared to the control group.

Basic rules of the water-tea diet:

  • When choosing green tea, you should give preference to large-leaved varieties grown in China. Further practice of using this diet will allow you to determine the tea that is suitable for your taste and quality.
  • Water for brewing tea must undergo additional purification and be soft (in hard water, tea will not give up all the beneficial substances).
  • The temperature of the brewing water should not exceed 80 ° C. Tea is brewed in a preheated porcelain dish.
  • The first brew is immediately drained, and the second is drunk only after the leaves have completely expanded (high-quality teas can be brewed up to seven times, while it acquires a new taste and new properties).
  • For 250 ml of water, two teaspoons of tea are taken.

During the day, you need to eat 5 times and drink one liter of tea (the temperature of the drink does not matter). Tea is taken either 30 minutes before meals, or an hour after. The main meals can consist of different foods, except for excessively fatty, sweet, smoked. It is recommended to reduce your usual portion by a third and cook boiled or baked dishes. Drinking purified water and avoiding late dinner will enhance the effect of the diet. Contraindications to the water-tea diet are diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

Kefir-bread-water diet

It may sound unusual, but bread is used as one of the main products for weight loss. Only the usual white bread, especially buns, should be set aside. On this diet, you need to eat whole-grain rye bread with the addition of bran, baked without yeast, or diet bread. In the process of weight loss, the principle of fractional nutrition is applied - meals are taken every three hours, even if it seems to you that there is no appetite.

Women can eat 8-12 slices of bread per day, men 12-16. The bread is supplemented with the following products: lean cottage cheese, avocado (spread in a thin layer on the bread), a piece of fish or poultry. Vegetables that do not contain little starch are allowed in unlimited quantities, 100 g of fruit must be consumed every day. It is allowed to eat three eggs in seven days and every other day to eat 200 g of boiled meat with a vegetable side dish, but on such days the bread ration is reduced by 4 slices.

Another staple of the diet is kefir. Its daily use will help to improve the functioning of the stomach and intestines, saturate the body with calcium. The daily intake of this drink is 300 ml. Choose low-fat kefir varieties. It is very important to drink a sufficient amount of purified water throughout the diet (10 glasses per day for women, 12 for men). Water saturates every cell of the body with moisture, improves digestive processes, and reduces hunger.

The diet lasts two weeks, during which body weight can decrease by 5 kilograms, provided that all recommendations are strictly followed. Before starting to lose weight, consult a doctor. You may need extra vitamins or a different type of diet altogether.

Reviews and results of the water diet

Olga. The water-tea diet I've been using for a month is the most comfortable I've tried. My diet is rather low-key, so I didn't have to change it too much, and tea was a nice addition. Over the course of a month, I gradually lost my extra nine kilograms. I advise you to plan your weight adjustment for a long time. If the diet is long, then the result will be long lasting. And not as with short-term diets - in three days you will lose and in three you will gain back.

Ruslana. The water diet immediately captivates with its simplicity, which is why I chose it. Yes, the result is obvious for the figure too - three kilos in the red. Fast, easy and effective with little excess weight.
