Therapeutic gymnastics is the main method of conservative treatment of osteochondrosis. It strengthens the muscular corset of the spine, develops the necessary flexibility and helps to stretch those muscles and ligaments that are difficult to relax in everyday life.

The proposed sets of exercises are quite simple, the duration of each is 20 minutes. You need to perform one such complex at least 3 times a week, and best of all daily. Most of the exercises are done while lying on your back, stomach, side, or standing on all fours, which relieves pressure in the intervertebral discs. All exercises included in the complexes are physiological in their parameters, therefore, when doing gymnastics, the muscles are not overworked.

The productivity and effectiveness of classes depend on their regularity and adherence to the correct technique for performing the exercises: training should not be accompanied by increased pain. If an exercise seems too difficult or you feel uncomfortable while doing it, you can skip it.

The video describes in detail two sets of exercises for osteochondrosis: for the cervicothoracic and lumbosacral spine. Each complex consists of two parts: educational and developmental. The correct posture directly depends on the condition of the cervicothoracic spine.

Content:

  • Cervicothoracic region, part 1 (training)
  • Cervico-thoracic region, part 2 (training, more intense in terms of load)
  • Lumbosacral part, part 1 (training)
  • Lumbosacral part, part 2 (training)

Cervicothoracic region, part 1 (training)

More than half of the complex is performed in a standing position and using a gymnastic stick:

On the subject: What can and cannot be done with osteochondrosis?

Cervicothoracic region, part 2 (training, more intense in terms of load):

On the subject: How to quickly relieve and get rid of lower back pain?

Lumbosacral part, part 1 (training)

The lumbar spine should be supported by the abdominals and glutes. If this does not happen, then osteochondrosis develops very quickly.

On the subject: What can and cannot be eaten with osteochondrosis? Menu for the week

Lumbosacral region, part 2 (training):
