Treatment of parasites in the human body is carried out with the help of anthelmintic drugs. There are drugs that have a wide spectrum of action, but there are also those that have a detrimental effect only on certain worms. In past years, predominantly herbal remedies were used to get rid of parasitic infestation, among which: pumpkin seeds, henopodium oil (a rather toxic drug obtained from the Mari plant as anthelmintic), garlic, male fern extract, etc. Modern medicine offers people safer drugs synthetic origin. If nematodes parasitize outside the intestine, then the patient is prescribed Diethylcarbamazine (Ditrazine citrate) or Ivermectin (Ivermek, Ivomek, Ivermectin).
As a rule, all anthelmintic drugs have a detrimental effect on adult parasites, but at the same time they are not able to destroy their larvae and eggs. Therefore, doctors strongly recommend taking two courses of treatment with an interval of 2 weeks. In addition, after taking some drugs, it is recommended to take a laxative in the evening, or make a cleansing enema.
Only a doctor can prescribe any drug to rid the body of tape or flatworms. All pills for parasites from this group have a toxic effect and must be taken in dosage. The dose depends on the patient's weight. In parallel, maintenance therapy is required in a hospital setting (when getting rid of tape and flatworms). Self-medication is unacceptable!
Treating tapeworm parasites or cestodes
Helminths-cestodes include a huge number of a wide variety of parasitic worms, including: bovine and pork tapeworm, broad tapeworm, dwarf tapeworm, teniarinchiasis, echinococcosis, alveococcosis, cenurosis, sparganosis, dipyldiosis and others.
To rid the human body of these parasites, the following drugs are prescribed:
- To eliminate tapeworms parasitizing in the human intestine, Niclosamide is recommended.
- For the treatment of combined invasions (giardiasis, echinococcosis, neurocysticercosis) provoked by the larvae of Taenia solium, as well as for nematodosis, Nemozole (Albendazole) is indicated. Effectively with the help of Nemozole, you can fight extraintestinal invasions of cestodes.

- To get rid of trematodes parasitizing outside the intestines, Bithionol or Chloxil is prescribed.
- To get rid of trematodes, which parasitize in the intestines, Perchlorethylene is indicated.
- Medicines based on praziquantel have a wide spectrum of antiparasitic activity - these are Azinox, Cesol, Biltricid, Cysticide.
Treatment of parasites during pregnancy
If a pregnant woman has been identified with parasites, then she is prohibited from taking any pills for parasites in the first 4 months of gestation. This is due to the fact that they are capable of causing more harm to a woman and the child developing in her womb than the helminths themselves. Taking any medications during pregnancy should be agreed with your doctor. In addition, during this period, only Piperazine can be taken.
If a woman has pinworms, then the drug is taken 5 days in a row, 2 times a day. Then you need to take a break of 7 days and repeat the course 1 to 3 times. Single dose 1.5-2 g.
If a woman has roundworms, then she needs to take Piperazine in the same dosage as with pinworms for two days (2 times a day). The drug should be drunk 60 minutes before or after a meal.
Pinworms during pregnancy are not a cause for panic. It was found that if all hygienic measures are observed, they will independently be excreted from the body after several weeks. Therefore, self-healing is not excluded. To do this, you just need to thoroughly steam your underwear and follow the rules of personal hygiene.

How to prepare the components of the "triad"?
Nuts. In order to prepare a tincture from the peel of walnuts, you need to take fifteen casings from nuts and chop them, then pour this composition with half a liter of alcohol and let it brew for thirty days in a dark place.
The nuts should be ripe when they are already falling from the trees. Their shell is used because it contains a lot of iodine. You can also use Lugol's solution instead of the walnut shell. This is iodine, which is found in glycerin. Consume five to ten drops per fifty to one hundred grams of water.
Wormwood powder is prepared as follows: leaves and fruits (best fruits in the form of balls) are dried and crushed. Wormwood is used only when ripe. You need to take the product in powder form with plain water. The dose per dose is 200-300 mg (1/2 tsp).
Carnation seeds. This refers to ordinary seeds that are sold in the store. They need to be crushed and taken in this form. The dose per dose is 500 mg (about a pea).
Reception scheme
Black walnut tincture is taken on the first day, one drop. You need to drop it in 1/2 glass of water (about 100 ml). It is good if you take the tincture on an empty stomach, dissolving it in your mouth for 15 minutes.
- 2nd day - 2 drops in 1 / 2-1 glass of water.
- 3rd day - 3 drops in 1 / 2-1 glass of water.

On the sixth day, take two teaspoons in one glass of water at the same time. Then use two teaspoons of the tincture in fifty grams of water for five days, twice a day. And then you need to consume two teaspoons during the year, once a day.
Wormwood powder is taken as follows.
- 1st day - apply 1 pinch before meals (with water).
- 2nd day - 1/4 teaspoon before meals (with water).
- 3rd day - 1/3 teaspoon before meals.
- 4th day - 1/2 tsp.
You must increase the dose until the fourteenth day of treatment, then you can take already 1/2 tbsp. spoons. You can take this dose all at once or divide it into two or three doses before meals.
For six days, consume half a tablespoon, and then half a tablespoon once a week. Since wormwood passes through the entire digestive tract, it captures all human parasites with it. And wormwood in the form of an infusion is absorbed in the stomach and intestines, and the thick section remains unaffected.
Carnation seeds. Due to the burning properties of cloves, it is able to increase immunity and eliminate parasites. And the burning sensation from this medicine quickly passes.
- 1st day - take 1/5 teaspoon 3 times a day before meals.
- 2nd day - 1/4 teaspoon 3 times a day before meals.
- From the 3rd to the 10th day - 1/3 teaspoon 3 times a day before meals.
After the 10th day - 1 teaspoon once a week.
If this does not help, just repeat the course of treatment of parasites with folk remedies.
According to doctors, it is recommended to take all three components at the same time. But if any component is missing, start without it. Since everyone in the family is a carrier of parasites, it is important that all family members receive treatment.
The body can also be effectively cleansed by starving occasionally. Pregnant women should be very careful with this method: reduce the dosage three to five times. And in the last two or three months, refuse treatment altogether.
