Botanical characteristics of rue
Fragrant rue is a perennial, fragrant and strong plant. The stems of the plant are erect, branched and bare, growing no more than half a meter. On the low stems of the rue, alternate leaves are located, which have translucent glands containing essential oil. Ruta flowers have linear bracts. The flowers are bisexual, which gather in inflorescences - panicles. Sepals are acute triangular in shape with translucent glands.
