How to get rid of chiries

Chiria is an inflammation of the hair follicle, most often caused by aureus, less often by white staphylococcus. A purulent-necrotic process develops as a result of contamination or microtrauma of the skin. Also, the cause of the disease can be a weakening of the immune-protective properties of the body, an increased sugar level, a deficiency of vitamins, a lack of minerals. The precursors of the formation of chiria are mild itching, some discomfort and a tingling sensation of the skin.

On about the second day, you can find redness and slight hardening, soreness when touched. Later, a tubercle with pus accumulated inside and a black dot at its top is visually observed. The abscess can break through, dry out, the cavity is again filled with a grayish-white liquid. After certain manipulations, the use of ointments or other means, pus comes out and it is possible to remove the rod along with the rest of the hair. The healing process occurs after cleansing the wound from viscous fluid and ichor, granulation tissue appears in its place, swelling, redness gradually disappears, pain passes. After its elimination, a whitish scar resembles a chiria.

Some people may be affected by multiple abscesses, they occur at any time simultaneously or gradually one after another on different parts of the body. Basically, the locations of the chiries are the buttocks, forearms, elbows, head, face, groin and axillary regions, the back of the neck, the back of the hands, the pubis in women and the scrotum in men. The purulent process is painful, sometimes causing chills and fever.

This pathology should be treated with great care. The self-medication process is sometimes ineffective. After finding an abscess, you must definitely contact the clinic. Of course, you can use various ointments or compresses, but this can lead to the spread of inflammation and infection.

The correct treatment can be prescribed by a dermatologist after a thorough examination. If surgery is needed, the abscess will be opened and the contents of the capsule drained. Even in the time of Hippocrates, such formations were certainly subjected to surgical manipulations. Today, thanks to the use of modern antibacterial drugs, detoxification and immune therapy, chirias are successfully treated. A purulent focus is opened under local anesthesia, the patient usually does not feel pain.

Chirias are treated without complications on an outpatient basis, in case of an advanced stage, hospitalization, medical, constant monitoring of the patient's condition is required.

At high temperatures, it is best to follow bed rest, a strict diet. If chirias are located near large saphenous veins, the danger of the disease lies in the possibility of inflammation of the lymphatic vessels. Squeezing out the contents of the hair follicle accumulating in the sac leads to sepsis. Therefore, such actions are categorically undesirable.

There is a risk, albeit rarely, of developing phlegmon of the surrounding tissue. If this phenomenon affects the joint, then the inflammatory process goes to the joint and calls out purulent arthritis. When treating a boil in the infiltration period, ultraviolet irradiation is used. When the maturation cycle begins, the doctor can perform an injection of the inflamed area using antibiotic solutions with novocaine. Compresses with a 1% solution of silver nitrate help a lot.

After opening the contents of the cavity, the wound is treated with hydrogen peroxide, sodium chloride is also applied. After healing, young connective tissue is formed. In order for the scar formed to be less noticeable in the future, it is advisable to use dressings with sterile vaseline oil, fish oil, synthomycin emulsion.

Chiria treatment is considered complete with complete tissue restoration. A poorly healed wound can fester again and again you have to repeat the treatment. Chiria is an insidious disease, and in most cases the causes of its occurrence are much deeper, and are due to rather serious health problems. With the correct diagnosis, you can identify the reasons, find out which diseases provoked inflammatory processes in the subcutaneous tissue.

They will help to avoid this pathology: a fairly balanced diet, walking in the fresh air, replenishing the body with vitamins, relaxing on the seaside in summer. But if everything, the same disease manifests itself, only the correct timely treatment will contribute to recovery.
