Sinupret - instructions for use

Sinupret
Sinupret

Sinupret is a drug that has an anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and antiviral effect on the human body, thanks to carefully selected natural ingredients. In addition, with its help, it is possible to enhance the secretory function: the patient more easily coughs up the sputum accumulated in the lungs, since it becomes less viscous and increases in volume several times. The doctor prescribes Sinupret for acute and chronic sinusitis, rhinitis, bronchitis and pneumonia.

As an additional prophylactic agent, Sinupret is recommended for people with low immunity, who often get colds during the cold season. The drug accumulates well in the tissues of the body, as a result of which the body's resistance to viral infections increases significantly.

According to research carried out by scientists, Sinupret today is one of the leaders among the medicines with which to treat the flu and the common cold. In the list of 40 most popular anti-cold drugs, it is in 4th place.

According to the instructions for the use of Sinupret, its composition is entirely represented by natural plant extracts: these are gentian root, verbena, sorrel and primrose. It is thanks to its natural ingredients that this medicine rarely causes allergies. Sinupret is prescribed for both adults and children; in both cases, cough and runny nose can be cured equally effectively.

Indications for Sinupret's use

Sinupret is especially effective in such diseases of the respiratory tract, which are accompanied by the formation of hard-to-remove secretions - thick nasal mucus and phlegm in the bronchi and lungs.

A doctor may prescribe this drug in the following cases:

  • With inflammatory processes in the bronchi, when their mucous membrane is affected (acute and chronic bronchitis);
  • With inflammation of the oropharynx (chronic or acute pharyngitis);
  • In the case when the infection has affected the tonsils, mucous membrane of the larynx and trachea (tonsillitis (tonsillitis), laryngitis, tracheitis);
  • If there are inflammatory processes in the mucous membrane of the nasopharynx and paranasal sinuses (acute or chronic sinusitis and rhinitis);
  • As an aid in the complex treatment of pneumonia;
  • For acute respiratory infections of various types - acute respiratory infections, ARVI, influenza;
  • As an expectorant for tuberculosis and cystic fibrosis.

Before taking it, be sure to consult with your doctor, because in some cases it is better not to take this drug.

Sinupret - contraindications for use:

  • Hypersensitivity to drug components;
  • Individual lactose intolerance;
  • Alcohol addiction;
  • Diseases of the liver and kidneys;

  • Brain trauma and epilepsy.

Sinupret is also not recommended for children under two years old, pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Admission rules and dosage

You need to take the medicine strictly in doses that are prescribed in the instructions for Sinupret, and only after consulting a doctor. He will establish an individual dosage, taking into account the characteristics of the body and the fact whether preventive measures are necessary, or the drug is used to treat a disease.

Adults are prescribed 2 tablets or 50 drops of the medicine three times a day. Children under 6 years old need to drink 10 drops, and adolescents under 16 years old - 15 drops three times a day. It is best to take the drug undiluted. Sinupret does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and practically does not cause side effects.

In some cases, if the dosage is exceeded or individual intolerance to a component of the drug, the patient may feel:

  • Nausea and abdominal pain;
  • Allergic skin reactions.

If such side effects of Sinupret have been noticed, treatment should be stopped and a specialist should be consulted for help.

Efficiency mark

Before starting therapy, you must carefully read the instructions. It is imperative to adhere to the dosage and not increase it in order to achieve greater effectiveness. If there are no positive dynamics in the course of treatment, it means that the drug does not affect the symptoms of the disease. It is best to consult a doctor for an injection, whether there is a positive effect of the drug in your particular case, and whether a replacement is required.

Sinupret can be classified as an immunomodulatory and antiviral drug. Therefore, it is allowed to take the drug for prophylaxis during epidemics, in order to protect the body and increase its resistance to infections. Thanks to its natural ingredients, it is suitable for almost all patients with respiratory diseases and very rarely provokes allergic reactions.
