Treating autoimmune diseases

As the name suggests, autoimmune diseases are associated with a dysfunction of the immune system. The prefix "auto" suggests that these diseases occur when a person's immunity "takes up arms" against his own organism or individual groups of cells. What is Immunity? This is our guardian and protector who is sensitive to the appearance of foreign substances, microorganisms and tissues that are not peculiar to us from nature. The arrival of intruders provokes a violent response - immune cells attack the enemy and try to destroy him. Sadly, sometimes our immunity cannot distinguish enemy from friend. Then they talk about an autoimmune disease.
News releases often frighten us with new outlandish diseases that modern medicine cannot cope with, despite the high level of development of pharmaceuticals. The well-known human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) has been supplemented by atypical pneumonia, "swine" and "bird" flu, and Ebola fever in the last fifty years alone. Scientists believe that gene mutations of viruses are to blame. But why does our immunity lose in the fight against a mutated threat? Is it because we are used to drinking antibiotics for any reason, and our food (meat, milk, eggs) contains shock doses of antibiotics? The infection loses sensitivity to those drugs that were fatal to it half a century ago.
There is a heated debate in the global medical community about the origin and methods of treating autoimmune diseases. But there is no consensus and no universal answer. The onset is usually associated with severe stress, severe trauma, or other lingering illness. Therapists, immunologists, rheumatologists, geneticists and other specialists are engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune ailments.
Autoimmune diseases are often called systemic diseases, because they affect an entire department or even the entire body at once. There are not only diseases, but also syndromes of autoimmune origin. For example, when a person suffers from chronic chlamydia for a long time, he may develop Reiter's syndrome. This is a lesion of the genitourinary organs, joints and eyes, which is not associated with the harmful effect of chlamydia itself - it is the result of an incorrect immune response of the body to the disease.
Effective dietary treatment
This is the only non-drug treatment for autoimmune processes in the body. Moreover, this method is quite effective, as it eliminates the cause of the disease!
This method allows you to cure diseases that arise due to impaired membrane permeability in cells, which include:
- autoimmune encephalitis
- Alzheimer's disease
- Hashimoto's disease (autoimmune thyroiditis)
- type 1 diabetes mellitus (insulin-dependent) at an early stage (when the pancreas is not completely destroyed)
- male infertility (sterile sperm syndrome)
- And other diseases that arise due to a violation of the permeability of cell membranes (which is most often caused by radiation).
Method essence
The essence of the method is to restore "damaged" cell membranes. Membranes are damaged as a result of radiation (it is not known when, but you most likely once fell under its influence), and our immunity, unfortunately, recognizes these cells as pathogenic, despite the fact that they are completely healthy. Therefore, having restored the membranes, the autoimmune process will stop automatically, as it began.
To restore the membranes, 2 things were needed:
- Ginkgo Biloba (dietary supplement)
- Healthy fats
Ginkgo Biloba is taken on an empty stomach, and immediately after a meal - fats (fish oil, lecithin, omega-3, fish roe and any oils rich in phospholipids (linseed oil, hemp, grape seed oil, pine nut oil, olive oil).
Ginkgo Biloba accelerates membrane regeneration more than 10 times!
And fats useful for the body are a building material for these purposes. Therefore, for the period of treatment, do not limit yourself to healthy fats, consume them in sufficient quantities.

Dosage
There is no daily dose of ginkgo biloba. You can take as much as is written in the instructions, but you can also double the dose. The minimum therapeutic dosage is 100 mg per day (assuming pure ginkgo biloba, no additives!). If you bought a vitamin or antioxidant product, then this is not pure ginkgo biloba.
The main thing to look for when buying ginkgo biloba is whether the manufacturer has a GMP certificate, otherwise you risk running into a low-quality product that will not be effective.
The course of treatment is from 3 weeks to 6-8 months, depending on the neglect of the disease.
In case of autoimmune diseases, you should not take any vitamins or any substances beneficial to the body.

Prospects for medical treatment of autoimmune diseases
When the immune system takes up arms against its host, doctors have no choice but to suppress the aggression of lymphocytes. The treatment of almost all autoimmune diseases is based on this principle. But if a person is actually deprived of immunity, how will he resist daily threats: bacteria, viruses, fungi?
First, not all autoimmune diseases require artificial immune suppression. For example, thyroiditis is treated differently - with hormone compensation. Secondly, the drugs of the new generation act pointwise on specific lymphocytes that are the cause of the disease, and not on all immune cells indiscriminately. Well, and thirdly, there are immunomodulators: for example, intravenous injections of immunoglobulin can increase the body's defenses in some patients. Although the majority of patients with autoimmune diseases are contraindicated immunomodulators.
Autoimmune diseases are treated with the following medications:
- Prednisolone;
- Cyclophosphamide;
- Azathioprine;
- Methotrexate.
Scientists are actively looking for new drugs for autoimmune diseases. Research is carried out in three main areas:
- Complete replacement of immune cells is a bold and dangerous method, which, nevertheless, has passed the stage of clinical trials and has shown its high efficiency. Doctors decide to destroy immunity and transfuse blood with new lymphocytes only in cases when the patient's life depends on it;
- Replacing a defective gene is an interesting idea of hematology scientists, which has not yet been implemented. But if the doctors succeed, it will mean a revolution. Any person can be protected from the risk of acquiring an autoimmune disease, and also made so that the former carrier of a dangerous gene no longer passes it on to descendants;
- Synthesis of artificial killer antibodies is a direction, if successful, will allow to completely cure autoimmune diseases, even in advanced form. If it was possible to create antibodies that purposefully destroy diseased and out of control lymphocytes, it would be possible to save the patient from illness without completely destroying his immunity.
