Baralgetas is an antispasmodic and analgesic drug based on three active ingredients. They are selected so as to mutually reinforce each other's action. The therapeutic effect of the drug is to alleviate spasmolytic phenomena, relieve pain and relieve inflammation. Baralgetas is indispensable for diseases accompanied by fever and pain of mild and moderate severity.
This product contains metamizole sodium (analgin), fenpiverinium bromide and pitofenone hydrochloride, thanks to the combination of which, you can simultaneously eliminate pain, lower body temperature and relax smooth muscles. The action of pitofenone hydrochloride and fenpiverinium bromide, like papaverine, is of a direct myotropic nature, concerning the state of the smooth muscles of the internal organs - substances contribute to its relaxation. However, the main active ingredient of the drug is metamizole sodium, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent that effectively reduces fever and relieves pain.
Baralgetas can be purchased at a pharmacy without a doctor's prescription, but self-administration of this drug to eliminate severe abdominal pain is unacceptable until the causes of the ailment are clarified. According to the instructions for use of Baralgetas, children under 5 years of age, severe forms of renal failure, pregnancy and lactation are also contraindications to it. However, this analgesic and antispasmodic has proven itself to be an effective analgesic and antipyretic agent in the treatment of colds in adults and school children.

The course of treatment should not exceed 5 days. In some exceptional cases, it is possible to increase the duration of treatment and / or the dosage of the drug.
- For children, Baralgetas, according to the instructions for use, has the right to prescribe only a pediatrician, making sure that the risk from taking the drug is noticeably lower than the expected positive effect. The permissible dosage for children 6-8 years old is no more than half a tablet 4 times a day. Patients in the age group 9-12 years old are given three quarters of a tablet 3-4 times a day. Adolescents aged 13-15 years can be taken in a whole tablet of the drug, but also no more than 4 times a day and at least 4 hours apart.
Interaction with other medicines
Using this medication in conjunction with other substances and drugs may run the risk of a number of side effects.
The following information will help you avoid errors:
- It is unacceptable to combine alcohol and Baralgetas;
- The use of this drug together with other non-narcotic analgesics is excluded, since in this case, the side effect will be a mutual increase in their toxicity;
- Baralgetas is harmful when taken simultaneously with tricyclic antidepressants and contraceptives, since the latter disrupt the metabolism of metamizole in the liver;
- Tranquilizers and sedative drugs can enhance the analgesic effect of Baralgetas.
Baralgetas is a very serious combined medication that acts as an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic agent.
