Treatment of chickenpox in adults with folk remedies

Chickenpox (chickenpox) is an acute viral disease transmitted by airborne droplets. The virus is rather unstable to the external environment. Its first signs are papulovesicular rashes occurring against the background of a feverish state. In most cases, chickenpox is carried even in childhood (and after that the body becomes immune to it), but cases of the disease are not uncommon at a later age. Repeated chickenpox infections are extremely rare in medical practice.

In adults, the first symptoms: chickenpox appear in the form of skin rashes, accompanied by a high temperature. The rash can appear almost all over the body, and this is often very frightening for adults. The resulting watery blisters burst, and in their place moist sores of an unpleasant appearance appear. In addition, severe itching in the area of the rash, in addition to fever and chills, can be considered as symptoms of the disease in adults. If found, seek medical attention and stay at home.

Treatment of chickenpox in adults is somewhat different from treatment for children. The temperature is usually brought down after 38.5 ° C, and nothing is processed with brilliant green. Doctors recommend taking an antihistamine orally and using malavit to lubricate papules. In this case, with chickenpox, it is very important to avoid bacterial complications. Diet is also important during illness - doctors generally recommend the use of plant and dairy foods.

Drinking also plays an important role; herbal infusions, teas and water should be consumed in large quantities. Taking a bath or shower is not recommended only in the acute period of rashes, after the papules dry out a little, you can wash in the shower without using washcloths and aggressive detergents. In addition to traditional treatment, there are some folk remedies to combat the disease (they are used only after consulting a doctor).

Mix in equal proportions chamomile flowers, immortelle flowers, mother-and-stepmother grass, chicory herb, burdock root and calendula flowers. Take 40 g of the mixed collection and pour half a liter of boiling water over it. Insist in a thermos for about 8 hours. Consume a third of a glass four times a day. This method is especially good for chickenpox in adults, since not every child can drink the resulting broth.

Brew 10 g of chopped lemon balm, calendula, chamomile and basil herb in one glass of boiling water and leave the broth to infuse in a warm place for 15 minutes. Strain it and drink it after breakfast and dinner.

For chickenpox in adults, another remedy is suitable. Boil six tablespoons of chopped chicory root in 250 ml of boiling water. Let the broth brew well. Take for 5 days, 20 g.
