Treatment of renal failure with folk remedies

Renal failure in remission, without symptoms of exacerbation, is usually treated on an outpatient basis. The treatment process is accompanied by control by a urologist, nephrologist, correction of doctor's prescriptions depending on the patient's condition and laboratory tests.

To reduce the load on healthy nephrons, it is recommended to adhere to the following recommendations:

  • A ban on drugs that are toxic to the kidneys;
  • Limiting the intensity of physical activity;
  • Treatment of foci of infection of the body;
  • Use of drugs that bind protein metabolites;
  • Eating a diet low in salt and protein.

A decrease in the proportion of protein in the diet (40-60 g per day) should not affect the ratio of useful amino acids. Reducing salt in food has a positive effect on blood pressure indicators, reducing swelling. It is desirable to keep its amount in the amount of 2 to 4 g per day.

Removal of metabolic products from the body of a person suffering from renal failure is recommended through the stimulation of perspiration. At home, this can be achieved by visiting the sauna, using medicinal baths, spa treatment in regions with a dry warm climate.

Treatment of kidney failure with burdock

To improve the condition of renal failure, traditional medicine advises to brew burdock root. It must be crushed in a mortar to a powdery state and one tablespoon boiled in a glass of boiling water. This should be done in the evening, and in the morning the infusion will be ready for use.

The infusion is drunk in several doses in one day. The dose is chosen depending on the patient's water regime, because you cannot drink more liquid than the volume of urine that comes out during urination. Otherwise, swelling may appear. The water for the infusion must be prepared in advance: boil and settle, then carefully decant so that no sediment gets into. This method of treatment and prevention of kidney pathologies has been used by traditional medicine of different cultures for several centuries. Acute renal failure is one of the reasons for using pomegranate juice to improve the functioning of this organ. The use of pomegranate juice lies, first of all, in the fact that it is a storehouse of vitamins and minerals vital for the balanced functioning of many body systems, including the kidneys, as an element of the urinary system.

Potassium contained in pomegranate juice is an important element of water-salt metabolism, the regulation of which is vital for a patient with renal failure. The pectins in pomegranate juice are substances that stimulate the activity of the urinary system, remove toxins and waste from the body.

The course of treatment with pomegranate juice for renal failure takes 2 months. During this time, you need to drink 200 ml of juice in the morning and evening, and 50 g after meals. Of course, fresh pomegranate juice will be useful, and not purchased pasteurized. (Read also: useful properties and recipes for using pomegranate)
