Scar treatment

Scars are special formations of typical connective tissue formed as a result of the process of restoring the integrity of certain injured tissues. The main cause of these scars is usually severe damage to the skin. The skin can be damaged due to various burns, injuries and punctures. In addition, the appearance of such formations is possible after surgery.

Scars are made up of defective tissue, which is collagen fibers. They are often formed at the site of a significantly damaged dermis. As a rule, there are no sweat and sebaceous glands on the surface, and there is also no typical hairline. There are very few nerve endings and blood vessels in a particular place of the scar. In most cases, there are no skin patterns, the skin is absolutely even and rather smooth.

Scars with a fairly dense structure are called keloids. They are usually tumor-like and bright red in color. Over the years, these scars fade and become less visible. Keloid scars and scars after burns respond fairly well to unique methods from traditional medicine.
