Symptoms and treatment of hand tremors
The cause of benign tremor of the hands is considered to be microcontractile vigor of muscle tissue. In the event that hand trembling increases and is associated with additional symptoms of various diseases of the nervous system, we can talk about disorders in the cerebellum and in the subcortical nuclei of the brain. It is these structures that are responsible for coordinating movements and regulating the strength of muscle contractions - in other words, they have a direct impact on the amplitude of the tremor. When these functions are blocked, the cerebellum does not regulate movement, which contributes to increased tremor of the limbs, a strong tremor appears that cannot be controlled.
Symptoms of hand tremor
The most affordable method for determining the amplitude of the tremor of the brushes at home is the method using a blank sheet of paper, on which you need to draw a spiral. If the spiral lines are straight, the tremor is within normal limits. Stripes with a scalloped edge indicate the need to monitor the patient for a couple of weeks. If the symptoms of hand tremor are constantly present and are not associated with intense mental activity, stress, tragic circumstances, then the patient needs a specialist consultation, since his condition can be considered pathological.
The course of the disease is aggravated by the abuse of caffeine, the use of certain medications, mental strain, the abuse of alcoholic beverages, thyroid disease, and puberty.
Treatment of hand tremors
In the event that the trembling of the hands is not constantly noted and is closely related to the provoking factors mentioned above, first of all, the doctor needs to establish the cause of the pathology and try to eliminate its adverse effect on the patient's body. A person who is tormented by tremors of the limbs, for effective treatment of tremor of the hands, needs good sleep, balanced nutrition, sedative procedures and activities that promote relaxation (knitting, modeling, etc.).
If the pathology accompanies the patient constantly, then we should talk about the aggravation of the neurological disease, which can be more effectively treated at its very beginning.
