Patients with hepatosis need to eat up to five times a day, the volume of fluid consumed should be 1.5–2 liters. The goal of diet therapy is to normalize the function of the liver and gallbladder.

It is important to eliminate foods rich in animal fats and high in cholesterol from your diet.

Diuretic herbs and fees have a beneficial effect on the health of patients. From bakery products, preference should be given to rye bread and non-tasty cookies. It is useful to eat boiled or baked fish and lean meats, steamed or boiled. You should not prepare concentrated broths from meat or vegetables for a patient with hepatosis; it is better to offer him light soups from fresh vegetables and herbs. Buckwheat or oatmeal porridge, as well as dishes from vegetables and herbs will be useful as a side dish.

Fatty meats and fish, legumes, radishes, spinach should be excluded from the diet.

It is better to adjust the diet based on the recommendations of the attending physician, which will take into account the characteristics of the body.

Diet therapy in this case should include not only the exclusion of harmful products from the diet, but also the compilation of a certain dietary model that promotes weight loss.

Excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages can become another cause of fatty hepatosis. In this case, the first step on the road to recovery should be a complete rejection of alcohol.

The complex of products recommended for patients with hepatosis can be found in the so-called "table number 5", it is usually prescribed to patients with liver pathology.
