For the treatment of ozena, traditional medicine recommends taking an infusion of a mixture of medicinal herbs inside. It is prepared as follows: you need to mix in a 1: 1: 1 ratio of dry ingredients (bitter wormwood, peppermint, sage), pour five tablespoons of the mixture into a thermos, pour a liter of boiling water, let it brew for two hours. It is necessary to take the remedy like tea three times a day, one glass at a time, and rinse the mouth with it.

In addition to the main treatment, it is recommended to take thyme tea three times a day.

Seaweed. It is necessary to grind dry seaweed with a coffee grinder to a powder without large pieces. Every day, 2-3 times a day, it is recommended to take this powder by inhalation (do not take a deep breath, but such that the powder does not enter the bronchi) - like snuff. This seaweed powder helps to heal the appearance of hard crusts.

Vegetable oils. In folk medicine, vegetable oils are very often used to treat ozena, which are included in many recipes.

Every day, three or three times in both nostrils, sea buckthorn, rosehip and milk thistle oil should be instilled, periodically changing the oils. This procedure avoids the appearance of dense crusts and an extremely unpleasant smell in the lake.

Combine two parts of natural honey with one part of peppermint oil. Lubricate the nostrils with this composition two or three times a day (do not skip days!).

Mix the oils in equal parts: olive and menthol. The nasal passages should be lubricated with this mixture three times a day.

Ledum. In a glass container, mix 3 tbsp. tablespoons of chopped wild rosemary with one glass of olive oil and leave in a dark place for a month. The container must be shaken every day, then filtered, the raw material must be carefully squeezed out. It is recommended to drip the resulting oil into the nostrils for a week four times a day.

Onion. 3 tablespoons of onions, rubbed to small particles, you need to pour 50 milliliters of unheated boiled water, put half a teaspoon of honey in the mixture, leave for half an hour, then strain. The resulting mixture is dripped into the nostrils five to six times a day.

Garlic. Peel 4 cloves of garlic, chop, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, place in a water bath in a glass container and leave for half an hour. Remove from heat, let the mixture stand for two hours, filter. Place one drop into the nostrils five times a day.

Soda and iodine. Add two tbsp. tablespoons of baking soda in a glass of warm boiled water, add five drops of iodine tincture, mix thoroughly. This composition should rinse the nasopharynx several times a day, and also gently inhale it through the nostrils.

Salt. One teaspoon of salt (preferably sea salt) should be poured into a glass of non-hot water. From the very morning, when you woke up, and at the end of the day, before bedtime, you need to inhale the mixture several times through your nostrils.

Lard and propolis. Melt the lard. Pour the resulting fat into an enamel container and mix with propolis in a 1: 1 ratio. Heat the mixture in a water bath, stirring constantly, but do not bring to a boil. The mixture must be thoroughly filtered, then poured into a glass jar, tightly closed with a lid. Every day, use your little finger to lubricate the nostrils with the mixture as deeply as possible. This should be done at least twice a day.

Aloe juice One tablespoon of freshly pressed aloe juice should be poured with half a glass of boiled water. The prepared solution is recommended to be drawn in with nostrils once a day.

Potatoes. An inexpensive daily routine is also helpful: breathing through your nose over freshly boiled potatoes. This makes the crusts softer. To consolidate the effect after breathing exercises, any of the available oily agents are dripped into the nose.

Boil two medium potatoes in their skins. When the tubers have cooled slightly, drip menthol oil into your nose, and then place the potatoes on both sides of the wings of the nose. Continue to keep until it cools completely, then you need to rinse your nose with soda water or herbal infusion.

Honey. One tablespoon of natural honey (ideally lime or buckwheat honey) must be combined with 20 tablespoons of unheated boiled water. In the morning and in the evening, gently draw in this composition with your nostrils. After such a procedure, it is necessary to drip an oil product.
