Also, an equally effective method is to combine juniper with fennel and licorice in equal proportions - 1: 1: 1 (these herbs must be poured with 2 liters of boiling water). The resulting infusion has a characteristic dark brown color and a bitter taste. Application mode: 1 tbsp. spoon three times a day before meals.
Contraindications: Juniper herb is contraindicated in pregnant women, people with kidney and urinary tract diseases in the chronic stage.
Linen
A particularly effective method is an infusion of flax seeds or inflorescences, which gives instant results. The patient, after drinking only two tablespoons of such tea, feels a strong diuretic effect, which reliably removes excess fluid from the body, and primarily from the lower extremities of the body. This infusion does not require straining, since flax seeds are an excellent aid in normalizing the intestinal tract.
The recipe for such a remedy is very easy: 3 tbsp. tablespoons of flax seeds need to be poured with 1 liter of boiling water and allowed to cool. This infusion has a characteristic bitter, herbal taste, which is not pleasing to many people, so it is allowed to add a spoonful of honey or lemon juice. The diuretic effect after taking the infusion is quite strong, and therefore such a procedure should be carried out during holidays or weekends.
Contraindications: In case of exacerbation of colitis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis, as well as in the presence of stones in the gall and bladder, it is not recommended to use flaxseed, as flax causes strong bile secretion. Flax can also cause flatulence when consumed in excess.

Anise
Anise has long been famous for its diuretic effect, and therefore this plant is one of the most effective helpers in the fight against leg swelling. Method of preparation of infusion: 1 tsp. anise seeds need to be poured with 2 liters of boiling water. After aging for about 2-3 days, the broth can be taken in 1 tbsp. spoon before each meal.
The effect of anise is achieved by stimulating the body's motor system, and a strong effect on joints and connective tissue helps to remove excess fluid, while stabilizing the normal balance of metabolism.
Contraindications: Anise is contraindicated in pregnancy, as well as in people with chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
Birch leaves
Birch leaves are an effective aid in alcohol abuse, which can cause swelling of the legs, since they not only cause a diuretic effect of the lower limbs of the body, but also have a positive effect on the liver. An infusion of birch leaves is considered hypoallergenic, but in case of chronic kidney and urinary tract diseases, a more neutral remedy (flax, blue cornflower) must be chosen.
Infusion recipe: 2 tbsp. l. birch leaves need to be filled with 250 gr. boiling water. After that, you need to strain the broth and wait until it becomes warm, and only after that you can take it three times a day before meals. A more effective method is to combine birch leaves with lemon zest, parsley root and fennel.
Contraindications: in the form of tea, birch leaves have no contraindications, but they should be taken with caution in chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis.
Chamomile
Many people believe that chamomile is only able to calm the nervous system, but its action also produces a diuretic effect that helps to relieve swelling of the legs. A decoction from its inflorescences rightfully belongs to the most reliable and proven methods in traditional medicine. However, unlike a simple soothing tea, a diuretic effect can only be caused by a strong concentration of chamomile. The recipe for such a tool is simple and affordable: 12 dry chamomile flowers need to be poured with 1 glass of boiling water. After cooling to room temperature, the infusion (light yellow, slightly cloudy) can be consumed 4-5 times a day, 1 tbsp. l. before meals).
Contraindications: There are no contraindications to chamomile consumption, so pregnant women and people with chronic heart and kidney disease can easily take chamomile tea. However, you should know when to stop!
Calendula
Calendula flowers help with a wide range of diseases and health problems, in particular: stress, nervous tension, itching, blood clots and swelling of the legs. It is impossible to list all the recipes based on them, but the most effective is this recipe: 2 tsp. calendula flowers and 1 tsp. flowers of blue cornflower need to be poured with 2 cups of boiling water with the possible addition of lemon or grapefruit zest. Calendula is especially effective for swelling of the legs that have arisen due to excessive physical exertion, for example: high heels, standing work, weightlifting and tight underwear.
Contraindications: Calendula decoction is contraindicated in pregnant women, people with severe heart disease and venous insufficiency. It has a specific bitter taste, dark brown color and a strong medicinal odor, and therefore, for comfortable use, it is recommended to add lemon zest or juice, a spoonful of honey.
