For the treatment of muscle sprains and ligaments, bruises and dislocations, traditional medicine recommends the use of common tansy. The inflorescences of the plant are crushed and 3 tablespoons are added to a glass of boiling water. The medicine will be ready in an hour: strain it and use it for lotions and compresses.

For internal use, twisted cornflower is well suited. An infusion is prepared from its flowers: 3 teaspoons of plant flowers are poured with boiling water (500 ml), kept for an hour, sipped and drunk half a glass three times a day. When stretching the ligaments, this folk remedy is very effective.

It is also useful to rub the site of injury with alcoholic tincture of arnica mountain. 200 ml of 70-degree alcohol requires 20 g of crushed plant flowers.

Treatment for muscle strain with barberry and milk

For muscle and ligament sprains, dislocations and bruises, take a decoction of the barberry root and bark. You need to brew it in milk: half a teaspoon of chopped bark, roots and branches of barberry is added to a saucepan with milk (250 ml) and boiled for half an hour. It is necessary to drink a teaspoon of the medicine three times a day.

You can also make compresses from hot milk: gauze is folded in four layers, soaked in hot milk and applied to the damaged area of the body, covering the top with compress paper, cotton wool and a handkerchief. When the gauze has cooled, the compress needs to be changed.

Apply for compresses and infusion of elecampane high: chop the root of the plant and pour 3 tablespoons of boiling water (250 ml). The drug must be infused for at least 20 minutes.

A popular folk remedy for treating muscle and ligament sprains is clay lotions. To carry out the procedure, take a piece of linen cloth, fold it four times and apply clay on it in an even wide layer two to three centimeters thick.

You can also prepare a lotion in a slightly different way: clay (100 g) is diluted in a liter of water and mixed with apple cider vinegar (5 tablespoons). A linen napkin is moistened with a solution, wrung out and applied to a sore spot.

Wipe the damaged area with a damp towel before applying the lotion. When applying a compress, make sure that it is tightly fixed. Tie a woolen scarf or shawl over the headband.

The procedure takes about three hours. When the lotion dries and heats up, it must be replaced. Before applying a new lotion, rinse the affected area with warm water. The procedure is repeated two to three times a day.

Use onion gruel lotions for the treatment of sprains: you need to take the required amount of fresh and baked onions, which should be crushed, mix with sugar in a ratio of 1:10 and apply lotions to the sore spot. The procedure should last at least five hours, after which the bandage is replaced with a fresh one.

You can relieve pain with sprains and dislocations with crushed leaves of wormwood. Also, dressings can be made from black poplar buds (black poplar): half a glass of dry raw materials is poured with boiling water (200 ml) and left for half an hour. Apply the kidneys to the skin, moisten the linen cloth in the infusion, wrap the sore spot over the kidneys with it. The compress is changed as it cools.

Traditional medicine recommends lubricating the sore spot with an infusion of lavender flowers (1 part) and sunflower oil (5 parts). This medicine is insisted for at least 30 days, but it will become very useful, as it is used to treat bruises, dislocations and sprains.

Sprains, sprains and bruises are treated with an ordinary cuff. It is also able to relieve puffiness and swelling. The leaves of this plant (100 g) are poured with half a liter of boiling water and set to brew for 4 hours. Then the medicine is filtered and compresses are made from it. In a similar way, ordinary agrimony is also prepared. Dry agrimony (3 tablespoons) is poured with half a liter of boiling water and boiled for 20 minutes. The medicine is filtered, water is added so that the volume is again about 500 ml, and used in the form of lotions and compresses. This remedy can also relieve fatigue of the legs or arms by taking baths.

Elderberry is known for its medicinal properties: its green berries are boiled, mixed with a tablespoon of baking soda, chilled and made in baths for the injured limb.

Garlic and Potato Stretch Treatment

Products containing garlic will become indispensable helpers in the treatment of muscle sprains and ligaments. Here are some recipes for such medicinal drugs.

1. Grind the garlic or chop it with a garlic spade. Boil the gruel on the lard, add fresh eucalyptus (chopped leaves), strain and rub the sore spot.

2. Chop 7-10 cloves of garlic with the help of a garlic, pour over the gruel with apple cider vinegar (500 ml) and vodka (100 ml) and leave in a dark, cold place for two weeks. Shake the medicine from time to time. When the time is right, strain the tincture and add 20 drops of eucalyptus oil to it. Stir the infusion thoroughly and use as a means for compresses.

3. Prepare and cool the infusion of garlic, soak a linen napkin in it and squeeze one lemon onto it. Apply to the sore joint as a lotion for sprains and bruises. Replace the compress when it gets warm.
