In the countries of Europe, the most widespread is the bladderwort. It is rich in its varieties and variety in appearance. The most famous and widespread cultivar of the Vine-leaf bladder is the Diabolo cultivar. This is the most powerful shrub that grows up to 3, sometimes 3.5 meters in height and 1.5-2 meters in width.

This is a very branched plant that holds a huge number of leaves on its branches, despite the thinness of its wood (up to 1 cm in diameter). The branches grow upward, striving for the sun's rays. The leaves often resemble an ellipse with many pointed maroon ends. In autumn, the leaves become more picturesque, changing from red to yellow. The flowers resemble rowan berries, only in this case they are inflorescences. The Diabolo variety blooms from June to July.

Variety Nanus ("Nanus") differs from variety "Diabolo" in its plain white flowers, small green leaves, and also growing up to 1.5 meters. This variety especially does not like waterlogging. Shrubs of the "Nanus" variety are mainly planted on the edges, near hedges and in gardens among flowers.

Summer Wine is a variety obtained by combining Diabolo and Nanus varieties. It differs from "Diabolo" in a more compact bush, reaching two meters in height. The branches of this plant resemble fireworks, it grows from the bottom up and falls down. The thickness of the branches reaches 1.5–2 cm, the length is up to 1–1.5 m. The inflorescences are neatly located along the entire length of the branches and have a characteristic white-pink color. This variety blooms in spring.
