Although modern medicine has made a huge leap forward in its development in recent decades, there are still diseases that cannot be cured even by doctors. Rheumatoid arthritis refers to just such diseases, so if a person suffers from a similar ailment, you should pay attention to folk remedies. They are aimed at containing the disease, eliminating unpleasant symptoms and preventing relapse of exacerbation.

So, here is what traditional healers offer to people suffering from rheumatoid arthritis:

  • Recipe 1. Seven-day course of compresses from grated raw potatoes. In order to prepare it, you need to take several tubers (depending on the number of diseased joints) and grind them on a coarse grater. The resulting mass should be put in a colander or sieve, which is dipped in boiling water for a few seconds. Then the grated potatoes, without squeezing, are transferred to a scarf or rag bag. It is he who is applied to sore joints at night. To enhance the therapeutic effect, you can wrap the compress with polyethylene and a bandage on top.
  • Recipe 2. A five-day course of red wine compresses. Such lotions have not only an excellent analgesic effect, but also help relieve inflammation. To prepare a compress, you need about half a glass of any wine and one tablespoon of mustard. The wine is slightly warmed up, but not boiled, then mustard powder is dissolved in it, a cloth soaked in this composition is applied to sore spots. A 15-minute warm-up session is sufficient to relieve pain and reduce inflammation. If the prepared mixture is not enough, then the proportions of wine and mustard can be doubled.

  • Recipe 3. Seven-day course of lotions from seeds of sprouted oats. This recipe has strong anti-inflammatory as well as mild pain relieving effects. To begin with, you need to germinate the seeds, for this they should be put in a wet cloth and removed to a warm place. When the first green stems appear, you need to moisten the tissue with warm water and apply it along with the sprouts to the joints affected by arthritis.
  • Recipe 4. Monthly course of healing baths, with decoctions of various herbs. For the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis such healing "helpers" as currant leaves (preferably black), birch and aspen, nettle and raspberry are perfect. These herbs have the ability to reduce inflammation, improve circulation and relieve pain. The effect will be noticeable after the first bath. But it should be borne in mind that the broth must be used in large quantities, for every 30 - 50 liters of water, a liter of infusion is needed.
  • Recipe 5. When, during an exacerbation, severe pain begins to torment, then you can use the usual food 6% vinegar. To do this, it is necessary to prepare its weak solution (1 tablespoon per liter of warm water), moisten a cloth or towel with it, wrap sore spots and additionally insulate. Such a wrap, if not completely, then significantly reduces pain symptoms.
  • Recipe 6. An effective remedy in the fight against rheumatoid arthritis is black radish juice in combination with vodka and bee products. A similar mixture can be used both internally and externally, in the form of a warming ointment. For cooking, you will need two glasses of vodka, a glass of juice and half a glass of honey. After mixing all the ingredients, you can take them 3 times a day for a tablespoon. If you use the mixture as an ointment, then you can add 1 tablespoon of salt there, after applying the composition to the skin, cover it with polyethylene and a shawl.

  • Recipe 7. A course of paraffin wraps. This is a time-tested effective remedy. The paraffin wax must be preheated to 50 - 60 ° C. This is done using a water bath. Then the viscous composition is applied to the diseased areas, covering it with a terry towel on top. The optimal exposure time is 40 minutes. Paraffin wrap should be done every other day, alternating with any other compresses. Depending on the severity of the course of the disease, the course can be up to 30 wraps.

  • Recipe 8. Wrapping diseased joints with plant leaves: burdock, cabbage, coltsfoot. Of course, it will not be possible to completely recover from the disease in this way, but it is quite possible to extend the remission time, to some extent relieve inflammation and reduce pain. Before applying the sheet, it must be crushed or pierced with a fork so that it gives juice. The procedure is not limited in time, so such wraps can be used on an ongoing basis.

  • Recipe 9. Not all products should be used externally, some decoctions can be taken internally. For example, this applies to tea made from bay leaves. It has a pronounced analgesic effect. Having brewed 4-5 leaves in a liter of boiling water, you can take a glass up to 3 times a day.
  • Recipe 10. Horse sorrel in the amount of 3 tablespoons, infused with a liter of vodka, helps to relieve inflammation, improve blood circulation and relieve pain. You need to drink the tincture on an empty stomach in the morning and before bedtime. It takes 4 courses of treatment, 15 days each. The break between courses is 2 weeks, the dosage of the tincture for a single dose is 1 tablespoon. Shake the bottle before use.
  • Recipe 11. Sprouted wheat grains can be consumed either in pure form or mixed with raisins, honey and your favorite dried fruits. This is not only a tasty, but also a healthy mixture that perfectly helps with exacerbation of rheumatoid arthritis, as well as for the prevention of the disease. It is best to take such a composition in the morning, before breakfast. There is one important rule about seed germination. No need to wait for long shoots. They should be eaten as soon as the first green heads have erupted so that the grains do not become poisonous. They must first be doused with boiling water.

  • Recipe 12. Cherries are an excellent remedy in the fight against exacerbations of the disease. You can just use them fresh inside, or you can make a healing tincture. To do this, 100 grams of berries on the bone are poured with vodka in equal proportions, and then removed for 10 days in a warm place. Over time, you can take 1 teaspoon of tincture orally in the morning and evening.
