Cervical canal treatment
Treatment of the cervical canal with folk remedies
The cervical canal is an important part of the cervix that connects the uterine cavity to the vagina. Its width is usually 7-8 mm, and during delivery it can expand up to 10 cm in diameter. The canal connects to the vagina through the external os (opening), to the uterine cavity through the internal pharynx. During intercourse, sperm penetrate through it, and during menstruation, blood is released.
One of the most common diseases of the cervical canal are polyps - tumor-like benign neoplasms growing from the canal wall into its lumen. Polyps can be single or multiple (in this case, polyposis of the cervical canal is recognized). The reasons for their formation are most often hormonal disorders, chronic inflammatory processes, less often mechanical trauma.
