Botanical characteristics of cancerous necks
Cancer necks represent the buckwheat family. A herbaceous plant with a thick curved rhizome, on which numerous thin roots grow, has a straight, fist-like stem that grows 50-80 cm in height, is a perennial representative of the plant world. Leaves at the base are large, oblong, with long petioles. The upper leaves are narrow, attached to brown bells. In the period from June to July, small pink flowers appear, collected in an inflorescence - an ear. The fruit is a nutlet, trihedral, dark brown.
The crayfish neck grows in dry valleys, on flooded meadows with forbs, chooses boggy shores of lakes, forest edges, settles among shrubs.
Useful properties of cancerous necks
Cancer necks are widely used in traditional and official medicine; the plant contains tannins, gallic and ascorbic acids, and starch. During flowering, the grass exudes an incredible aroma. The value of a medicinal plant lies in its rhizome. Young leaves and stems of crayfish necks, rich in vitamin C and minerals, are eaten in some regions of Russia. Due to tannins, preparations of cancerous necks have an anti-inflammatory and astringent effect on the human body.
The use of a cancerous neck
Traditional medicine recommends decoctions from the roots of the herb of cancerous necks for inflammation of the gallbladder and bladder. A decoction of a cancerous neck prepared at home can cure colitis, relieve acute inflammatory processes in the intestines.
Also, the broth is taken as an anti-inflammatory agent for dysentery.
Decoction recipe number 1: Boil the herb with boiling water 1:10. Insist, strain and drink 3 times a day, 1 tablespoon.
Decoction recipe number 2: 20.0 grams of crayfish necks and 1 liter of water are simmered for 20 minutes. It is recommended to take 1-1.5 glasses a day. Decoction rinsing relieves inflammation of the oral mucosa, effective for gum disease. A decoction will help with the appearance of stones in the gall and bladder, during treatment, you must follow a strict diet, excluding meat, bacon, fish, eggs, salt and alcohol. The agent is also effective during enteritis of the large intestine and as a hemostatic agent.
Decoction recipe No. 3: 5.0 g of crayfish necks powder, a teaspoon of flax seeds, 200.0 g of water, boil with boiling water, and take 1 tablespoon every 2 hours for bleeding of internal organs caused by ulcers.
Outwardly, a decoction of cancerous necks is used for lotions on old wounds, boils, external ulcers, bleeding wounds. Herbal treatment for the cancerous neck is prescribed for inflammatory processes of the oral mucosa (stomatitis, gingivitis).
Cancer neck flowers
An unusually beautiful plant has pale pink flowers, collected in a large cylindrical, dense spike-shaped inflorescence. Flowers of crayfish necks will decorate any flower bed. In folk medicine, flowers of cancerous necks are practically not used. There is a recipe for the infusion used for ear diseases as drops.
Infusion of crayfish necks: 10–20 g of raw materials are infused in 200 ml of boiling water in a thermos for 8 hours, then filtered. Take 1 tablespoon 3-4 times a day.
Cancer neck root
The root of the herb, the cancerous neck, is part of the gastric teas. In folk medicine, decoctions and infusions are popular as an astringent in the treatment of wounds, bleeding, boils, diarrhea and in the treatment of diseases of the bladder.
Broth from crayfish necks: To prepare the broth, 1 tablespoon of crushed rhizomes of crayfish necks are poured with a glass of boiling water, boiled for 20-30 minutes and filtered. Take a decoction of 1 tablespoon 3 times a day before meals. Also, such a decoction is used to rinse the mouth with stomatitis, gum disease.
The roots of cancerous necks have a pronounced calming effect on the central nervous system. Decoctions are used for cystitis, for washing the vagina with profuse leucorrhoea, colpitis, vaginitis. An extract can be prepared at home to treat stomach upsets.
Extract from the root: Chop a large root, add 70% alcohol 1: 1. Insist in a cool dark place for two weeks. Take 20-30 drops 2-3 times daily before meals.
Contraindications for cervical cancer
Funds from cancerous necks do not cause intoxication, but with prolonged use they cause constipation. Carefully you need to use the herb for angiocholitis of the liver and acute pancriatitis. Also, cancerous necks are contraindicated in patients with impaired renal function.
