Treatment of intervertebral hernia with folk remedies

Tincture of cinquefoil roots
Tincture of cinquefoil roots

These five methods must be applied in a complex manner, because this is how you can achieve lasting positive effects. Treatment of intervertebral hernia with folk remedies requires patience and consistency - do not expect the result earlier than a month later. But these techniques are absolutely safe and available to everyone.

The second important point: you cannot interrupt the treatment and overload the back immediately after the onset of relief. The natural reaction of any person who is tired of constant exhausting pains is to rejoice at the long-awaited freedom, to abandon medications and start living to the fullest. But do not rush to relax - in a couple of months, folk remedies, coupled with therapeutic exercises and massage, can only reduce an intervertebral hernia in size and release a pinched nerve, but not completely cure the disease. Treatment should be continued until the examination confirms success.

Tincture of cinquefoil roots

For oral administration: place 100 g of saber root in a glass container, pour 1 liter of vodka, seal tightly and insist for 21 days in a cool dark place, shaking occasionally. Then strain, refrigerate and take 1 tablespoon before meals three times a day, dissolving the medicine in a third of a glass of clean water.

For external use: pour one bottle of 10% Dimexide into the tincture prepared according to the above recipe, mix thoroughly, slightly heat and rub the hernia area overnight, as well as the buttock, thigh and limb to the very foot along the line of pain. Do not use inside!

Comfrey root ointment

Ingredients: comfrey root - 500 g, pine resin-sap - 70 g, inner pork fat or lard - 350 g, vodka - 300 ml.

Preparation: Wash the comfrey root and grind it in a meat grinder, melt the pork fat or melt the lard in a deep non-stick dish or cast-iron pan, add the comfrey and cook over low heat for 40 minutes, stirring with a wooden spoon. Melt the gum in a water bath, pour into the mixture of fat and comfrey and cook, stirring occasionally, for another 15 minutes. Then pour in vodka, turn off the heat, mix the mixture thoroughly and leave to solidify. After a few hours, melt again and pour into a glass jar through a metal sieve for filtration. Store the finished comfrey root ointment in the refrigerator.

Application: apply the ointment in a thick layer on the hernia area, cover with cellophane and a piece of flannel, lie on your back and lie for 40 minutes, then rinse off the remains with warm water, wipe dry and dress warmly. At night, rub sore spots with ointment, wear cotton or flannel pajamas and do not crawl out from under the blanket.

Comfrey root tincture

Ingredients: comfrey root - 3 pieces, vodka - 500 ml, Dimexide (10%) - 1 bottle.

Preparation: Wash and grind the comfrey with a meat grinder, put it in a glass container, pour in vodka, seal tightly and infuse for 14 days in a dark, cool place, shaking occasionally. Then strain the tincture, add Dimexide to it, mix and store in the refrigerator. Do not use inside!

Application: it is best to rub the area of intervertebral hernia, thigh and limb along the line of pain in the morning with comfrey tincture, after you rubbed with comfrey ointment the day before. For rubbing, use a piece of felt cut from the boot of an old felt boot - this way you will achieve good absorption and blood flow to the sore spots. Along with the comfrey tincture, you can use pharmacy creams and gels in the same way: "Citralgin", "Sabelnik 911", "Radiculite balsam".

Compress with honey

Ingredients: freshly squeezed room aloe juice - 50 ml, liquid honey - 100 ml, vodka - 150 ml.

Preparation and use: mix all components thoroughly in a glass jar and leave for 24 hours at room temperature, then put the medicine in the refrigerator. Every evening before going to bed, until the contents of the jar run out, make compresses: gauze rolled into 10 layers, soak with the medicinal composition, apply to the area of the intervertebral hernia, cover with cellophane and a warm cloth and lie on your back for at least an hour.

Olympic Athletes Recipe

Athletes prepare for important competitions, including through dietary revisions. Sports doctors recommend that they consume a small amount of dried fruits every day for a month and a half to saturate the intervertebral tissues with the necessary vitamins and microelements.

The Olympic recipe for strengthening the spine is very simple:

  • Figs - 1 piece;
  • Prunes - 1 piece;
  • Dried apricots - 5 pieces.

It is these dried fruits that contain substances that make muscles strong, elastic and resistant to intense physical exertion: vitamins A, C, B, E, PP, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium, valuable amino acids and vegetable oils. The consumption of figs and prunes contributes to the natural cleansing of the body of toxins and radionuclides, and dried apricots also have a beneficial effect on the heart and reproductive function.

To improve the well-being in case of intervertebral hernia, you need to strictly adhere to the proportions and use all three named dried fruits, because they work effectively in combination with each other, and not separately.

Iplikator Kuznetsov and applicator Lyapko

Iplikator Kuznetsova

The Kuznetsov's iplikator is a piece of fabric on which peculiar "buttons" are fixed close to each other, covered with plastic needles of a pyramidal shape with a height of 8-10 mm. Each button has 18 needles, and they are located in two concentric circles. The term "iplikator" was coined by the author of the technique, Kuznetsov, who thus wanted to emphasize the relationship of his invention with the technique of acupuncture. With an intervertebral hernia, the Kuznetsov iplikator is bandaged to the most painful area, after which the patient needs to lie on his back for 40-60 minutes to relieve the pain syndrome. It is not considered as an independent method of treating hernia.

The Lyapko applicator is a rubber mat, studded with metal needles 3-4 mm high. The needles are deliberately blunt, however, they dig into the skin quite hard. The essence of Lyapko's technique is to combine acupuncture with a galvanic effect, as the needles in his applicators are made of four types of metal: copper, iron, silver and zinc. Lyapko applicators are very diverse in size, shape and purpose: lumbar mats, daisies for the cervical spine and even foot insoles. Treatment of a herniated disc with these applicators is also symptomatic, that is, they only relieve pain for a while.

In conclusion, we once again recall the need for a thorough examination and medical consultation before using all the methods of treating an intervertebral hernia, given in this article. Take care of yourself and be healthy!
