Description of the zyuznik
The charming viper is a perennial plant with a tetrahedral stem, which is branched in the upper part. The opposite leaves of the plant have an oblong-lanceolate shape and a serrated edge. The upper plates are sessile, and the lower ones are equipped with petioles. Some species of grasshopper grow in water, while their leaves immersed in water are pinnately dissected. The white, small, funnel-shaped flowers have a four-part corolla with interesting purple dots that are visible on the lip and throat.
The plant blooms from mid-July to late September. It is often found in various parts of Europe. Zyuznik chooses moist soils, settles along the banks of reservoirs and ditches. It spreads through thin underground shoots. During flowering, you can harvest the aerial part of the plant. The collected grass should be well dried out of direct sunlight.
Useful properties of zyuznik
Zyuznik contains a lot of tannins, resins, glycosides and a special essential oil. The main active ingredient is lithospermic acid, thanks to which the plant acquires a healing effect against many forms of thyroid hyperfunction. Regular intake perfectly reduces the excitability of an important thyroid gland, while the plant simultaneously counteracts the dangerous excess of its hormone. Due to the derivative of caffeic acid, the zyuznik will help to avoid serious complications.
Zyuznik tea is of little popularity in folk medicine. More effective extracts from this plant are often used. They can be purchased at any pharmacy. The extract is excellent for treating cardiac neuroses and other disorders of the heart caused by increased thyroid hyperfunction. For this we take 2 tsp. very dry herbs, which are filled with 200 grams of boiling water. The mixture should be infused for at least 10 minutes, after which it is recommended to gently strain.
This unusual tea should be drunk warm and unsweetened in very small sips at least twice a day for one cup. A full course of treatment for thyroid ailments is approximately 3-4 weeks. This drink also has a mild calming effect on the human body. For cardiac disorders, a special homeopathic remedy Lycopus virginieus is indicated. It is used in the D1 dilution. It is recommended to take this wonderful remedy 5-10 drops no more than three times a day.
Zyuznik tincture
A unique tincture of zyuznik is prescribed most often for severe heart pains, as well as for heart palpitations. In combination with the main drug therapy, this remedy will help a person get rid of vegetative-vascular dystonia. To prepare this magnificent infusion, you need to take 1 tbsp. l. heavily crushed herbs, and pour 300 grams of boiling water over it. The mixture should be placed in a dark place for a couple of hours.
After straining, the infusion can be taken 4 times a day, 50 ml each. It is advisable to take this medicine 20 or 30 minutes before a meal. The optimal course of correct treatment should be at least three weeks. After its completion, you need to take a week break, after which the treatment can be resumed.
To prepare the tincture, you will need the same crushed dry herb. Which is diluted with vodka in a ratio of 1: 5. After insisting in a warm place for 14 days, the product is ready for use. You can drink it in 20-30 drops depending on the development of the disease. reception of the tincture, diluted in water, is carried out before meals.
