Garlic prevents heart attack and blood clots

Studies of the biochemical processes occurring in the body after ingestion of garlic, carried out by a professor of chemistry at the University of New York E. Blok, have revealed an interesting pattern - the substance ajoen, found in this vegetable culture, is superior to aspirin in its anticoagulant effect. Thus, garlic inhibits the formation of sclerotic plaques, preventing them from sticking to each other and attaching to the walls of blood vessels.

This effect, produced by the use of garlic, prevents dangerous blood clots from forming and prevents the development of atherosclerosis. If blood clots have already begun to form, the substances in the garlic stimulate their dissolution and activate the fibrinolytic system. To confirm this property of garlic, the researcher of the problem, Professor E. Born conducted an experiment on volunteers - Indian medical students.

The study confirmed that eating 3 heads of garlic per day resulted in the resorption of 20% of existing blood clots. Additionally, it was found that heat-treated garlic has the greatest effect.

Experimental work carried out over several years by the leading researcher of garlic, cardiologist A. Borgia from Tagore College of Medicine, has confirmed that blood clots can be dissolved in arteries damaged by atherosclerosis even in patients who have had a heart attack. He found that feeding rabbits with atherosclerosis with garlic significantly reduced the degree of clogged arteries in them.

He conducted a study on 432 patients with myocardial infarction and found that regular consumption of garlic prevents premature death and re-infarction. Patients in the group consuming 2-3 cloves of raw or heat-treated garlic for 2 years died much less often than patients in the control group.

After 3 years, the results became even more impressive - the mortality rate in the group of patients who did not consume garlic was 3 times higher. The data suggesting that the benefits of eating garlic increase with age, according to Dr. A. Borgia, are based on its ability to reduce clogging of coronary arteries with sclerotic plaques.

Not only the main arteries, but also the peripheral vessels feel the benefits of consuming garlic. Intermittent claudication, and the pain associated with this disease, are caused by clogged vessels in the leg arteries. Studies carried out on patients of a cardiologist after taking 800 mg of garlic powder showed that patients who took the drug walked 45 m longer without stopping than patients with the same disease from the placebo group.

Under normal conditions, patients suffering from this disease can only walk a short distance due to the sharp pain in the limbs. Significant relief in such patients came after 5 weeks of taking the garlic preparation.

Rules for the use of garlic and preparations from it:

  • You can't eat garlic immediately after a heart attack;
  • It is introduced into the daily diet in remission;
  • The optimal dose is 1-2 cloves of garlic per day.

Garlic infusion recipe:

  • Cut 2 garlic cloves into thin slices.
  • Pour them overnight with a glass of water, let it brew for 12 hours.
  • Drink water infused with garlic in the morning.
  • Pour water over a new portion, leave to infuse until evening.
  • Repeat at the same frequency for a month.

As a result of such a course of treatment, the blood test values should be close to optimal indicators.

Home treatment after myocardial infarction

Home treatment after a heart attack
Home treatment after a heart attack

In most cases, myocardial infarction was provoked by atherosclerotic processes with the heart and cardiovascular disease. In addition to conservative medicine, folk recipes help to fight the causes and consequences of a heart attack. Garlic helps to slow down the deposition of atherosclerotic plaques on the walls of blood vessels. If the patient is not worried about tachycardia (heart palpitations), it is quite acceptable to use it fresh. Otherwise, you can use garlic oil.

Reducing the level of "bad" cholesterol with garlic oil:

  • Finely grind the head of garlic and pour 200 ml of unrefined sunflower oil over the gruel per day.
  • Pour the juice of one lemon into the oil solution, stir thoroughly.
  • Insist for 7 days, occasionally stirring the contents of the container.
  • Take 1 tsp. 3 r / day half an hour before meals. The course of treatment lasts 3 months and is repeated after a month's break.

To get rid of cholesterol plaques, you need to include fresh vegetables and fruits in your menu more often, and drink freshly squeezed juices. Apple and cranberry juices, as well as juices of citrus fruits (except for grapefruit) and chokeberry, cope with this more effectively than others. Essential oils of lemon peel have a positive effect on blood vessels, so it needs to be chewed more often, thoroughly grinding in the mouth. The same properties are possessed by a mixture of honey and black chokeberry berries, in a ratio of 2: 1, if taken in 1 tbsp. l. during the day.

Potassium and magnesium have a positive effect on heart activity. To prevent such a frequent complication of myocardial infarction as arrhythmia, you need to often include foods rich in these elements in your diet.

Recommended foods high in potassium and magnesium:

  • To strengthen the heart muscle, you need to eat 100-150 g of dried apricots daily, containing a lot of potassium;
  • To replenish the body with magnesium, you need to eat 100 g of walnuts, they are mixed with 2 tbsp. l. buckwheat honey. This daily portion is consumed in 3 divided doses.

In the first days after a heart attack, the body really needs additional support.

To do this, you can drink freshly squeezed juices from vegetables and unsweetened fruits:

  • Carrot juice - consumed with vegetable oil 1/2 cup 2 times a day.
  • Persimmon juice;
  • Turnip juice with honey;
  • The juice of beets, radishes, carrots, taken in equal proportions, with the addition of honey. This mixture is consumed in 1 tbsp. l. 3 times a day half an hour before meals for 3 months.

When determining the diet of patients with ischemia, the doctor usually insists on limiting sugar, suggesting replacing it with honey.

Options for the use of honey by patients with pathologies of the cardiovascular system:

  • Stir 1 tbsp. l. honey in 100 ml of boiled water, drink during the day.
  • It is recommended to use bee pollen with cores mixed with honey;
  • 1/2 tsp. a mixture of royal jelly, mixed with honey in a ratio of 1: 100, should be kept in the mouth 3 times a day until completely absorbed. The course of application of royal jelly is from 2 to 4 weeks.

3 essential foods after myocardial infarction

In addition to pharmaceuticals and methods of conservative therapy, various products and dietary supplements can be used to relieve the consequences of a heart attack.

Selenium

Selenium
Selenium

Statistics confirm that countries where soil and food do not contain enough selenium lead in the number of cardiovascular diseases (as, for example, in Germany and in Finland).

To compensate for the deficiency of selenium, the Finnish government adds it to fertilizers and feed for farm animals. The result of this approach has been a 61% reduction in cardiac deaths over the past 2 decades.

Such a serious impact on the health of heart patients is due to the antioxidant properties of selenium:

  • Ions of this trace element are actively involved in the formation of an enzyme responsible for protecting cells from oxidative processes.
  • Selenium participates in biochemical reactions of synthesis of its own antioxidants;
  • If the body lacks a trace element, degeneration processes begin in the heart muscle;
  • Activation of the enzyme, which includes selenium, allows you to limit the area of myocardial damage during a heart attack;
  • Activation of oxidative processes without protection by selenium leads to myocardial ischemia and heart failure;
  • The combination of selenium with tocopherol (vitamin E) is extremely effective on the recovery processes in the heart muscle after myocardial infarction.

Interesting information: only 2 Brazil nuts contain a daily therapeutic dosage of selenium.

Selenium is actively involved in the prevention of heart attacks and strokes, neoplasms in perfectly healthy people living in areas that are unfavorable from an environmental point of view.

Omega-3

These polyunsaturated fatty acids enter the human body exclusively with food, since humans cannot synthesize them on their own. The main sources of omega-3 fatty acids:

  • Sea fish;
  • Soybean and flaxseed oil.

Health Benefits of Omega-3 Fatty Acids:

  • Maintain vascular tone;
  • Able to destroy blood clots in the circulatory system;
  • Normalize blood pressure;
  • They stop inflammation in the human body, allergic reactions;
  • Normalize the functioning of the bronchi;
  • Participate in the formation of the cell membrane, the outer membrane of which is involved in the transmission of nerve impulses, the preservation and reproduction of the information received;
  • Helps maintain optimal kidney and urinary function
  • Improves the condition of the skin, hair and nails;
  • As an antioxidant, they actively resist the appearance of breast and prostate cancer - hormone-dependent tumors;
  • Used to prevent the appearance of eczema, diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, depression;
  • Reduce the manifestations of arthrosis, osteoporosis, psoriasis.

Lack of polyunsaturated Omega-3 acid negatively affects the functioning of the reproductive, nervous and immune systems.

The optimal amount of this battery:

  • For women - 1.6 g / day;
  • For men - 2 g / day.

Flax seeds and chia seeds are the record holders for omega-3 content, the daily dose of omega-3 of which is contained in 1 teaspoon. And also walnuts, which will be enough to eat only 10 grams per day.

It is advisable to maintain a balance in the diet of your diet between fatty acids coming from plant foods and omega-3s delivered to the body from animal products, although the acids of their products of the first category are better absorbed.

Diet guidelines for optimal absorption of Omega-3 lipids:

  • The best salad dressing is rapeseed, sesame, nut and olive oils. So it is possible to maintain the optimal ratio between the acids Omega-3 and Omega-6, which is no less necessary for a person.
  • Consume at least 150 g of marine fish of fatty and semi-fatty species during the week: herring, tuna, mackerel, trout, salmon, sardines, as well as caviar and other seafood obtained in natural conditions.

    Fish raised on a special farm do not have the same value as those that grew up feeding on plankton, sea creatures and plants, and not on artificial feed and fish meal.

  • Smoked and salted fish contains almost no omega-3 acids, freezing deprives the fish of half of these valuable lipids during a year of frozen storage. Canned and preserves from fish based on olive oil retain Omega-3 acids almost completely. For example, a can of sardines canned in olive oil contains 3 days of Omega-3 for an adult.
  • One teaspoon of flaxseed oil or flaxseed contains the daily requirement of omega-3 lipids and at the same time is very effective in solving the problem of constipation. These products can be used for salad dressing, soups and main dishes. Since linseed oil goes rancid quickly, it must be used before the expiration date.

If it is not possible to purchase the above food products, you should pay attention to dietary supplements containing polyunsaturated fatty acids, carefully observing the dosages recommended by the instructions for use.

Diseases in the treatment of which the use of polyunsaturated omega-3 acids may be useful:

  • Pathology of the heart and blood vessels: myocardial ischemia, atherosclerosis, ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke;
  • Allergic diseases with skin manifestations: eczema, dermatitis;
  • Joint diseases: arthritis, osteoarthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatic joint disease;
  • Multiple sclerosis;
  • Metabolic disorders: diabetes mellitus, obesity;
  • Diseases of the veins: thrombophlebitis, varicose veins, phlebothrombosis;
  • Pain syndrome of various etiologies: headaches, menstrual pains, joint pain;
  • Dermatological problems: ichthyosis, psoriasis, alopecia, thinning of the nail plate;
  • Diseases of the vocal cords: polyps, nodules, spasms of the ligaments.

Israeli drug "AL-Protector BV"

The pharmaceutical industry around the world regularly introduces new drugs to combat atherosclerosis, a condition that threatens cardiovascular pathologies: myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, strokes, hypertension, heart rhythm disturbances and heart failure.

Israeli scientists have created a new drug for the prevention of atherosclerosis AL-Protector BV, which has a pronounced preventive effect in 7 cases out of 10.

Benefits of using AL-Protector BV:

  • Only natural ingredients in the composition of the preparation: healing salts and minerals of the Dead Sea, extract from the insides of the silkworm;
  • High efficiency, confirmed by research: in 70% of patients, there is a decrease in the existing atherosclerotic plaques and a decrease in the dynamics of the appearance of new formations on the walls of blood vessels;
  • Elimination of factors affecting the appearance of atherosclerosis, prevention of recurrence of vascular pathology.

Elimination of plaques on the walls of blood vessels occurs in the following sequence:

  • The walls of the plaque are destroyed by the action of the serrapeptase enzyme, with the help of which the silkworm is able to destroy the walls of its cocoon.
  • The enzyme destroys atherosclerotic plaques, dissolves them and thereby prevents the formation of blood clots. Serrapeptase does not thin the blood and does not provoke the risk of massive bleeding.
  • Minerals from the Dead Sea remove the roughness of the walls of blood vessels, stop inflammation, smoothing the roughness of the walls.

As a result of the action of the drug, a smooth layer of flat cells is formed inside the vessel, which does not allow for the deposition of cholesterol on its walls, as well as the absence of obstacles to blood flow.

Before taking the drug, it is worth assessing the feasibility of its use, since its cost is close to $ 150. For this, an ultrasound Doppler study is performed, which evaluates blood flow disorders caused by atherosclerosis.

Recommendations for the use of capsules AL-Protector BV:

One capsule 2 times a day with meals.

At the end of the course of treatment, a control Doppler ultrasound is performed to assess the effectiveness of treatment.

The use of natural products - biostimulants can significantly reduce the load on the body from pharmaceuticals, achieve normalization of metabolic processes, reduce the risk and consequences of myocardial infarction.
