Treatment of nervous tic with geranium and plantain
A useful folk remedy that can help treat nervous tics is a geranium leaf compress. Raw materials must be thoroughly crushed and applied to the teak-affected area (face, neck, eyelid). Put a towel on top and leave for 15 minutes. You can repeat the procedure three to five times.
Also, traditional medicine advises taking a decoction of plantain leaves. They are taken in the amount of three tablespoons and mixed with fragrant rue (1 tablespoon) and anise seeds (1 tablespoon). The mixture must be well crushed and poured with half a liter of boiling water, then add honey (300 g) and half a lemon, chopped with peel, into it. The medicine is boiled over low heat for ten minutes, after which it is cooled and 2-4 tablespoons are taken during bathing or bath procedures.
Treatment of nervous tics with hawthorn and chamomile
Traditional medicine recommends using hawthorn tincture in the treatment of nervous tics. Prepare it by pouring pre-crushed hawthorn fruits (1 tablespoon) with boiling water (350 ml). This medicine is drunk three times a day before meals (half an hour).
A decoction of chamomile inflorescences also has healing properties. To prepare it, it is necessary to brew four tablespoons of dry inflorescences of this plant in a glass of boiling water. Then the mixture is boiled over low heat for 15 minutes, after which it is filtered and drunk in a third of a glass for three doses a day. It is best to take this medicine before meals.
Treatment of a nervous tic with fees
For the treatment of nervous tics, medicinal herbs can be combined to obtain healing fees. We will describe some of them below.
Collection 1. An effective remedy is the collection of plantain leaves, rue herb and anise seeds. Three tablespoons of plantain leaves are crushed and combined with the remaining components (one tablespoon each). The collection is poured with half a liter of boiling water and honey (100 g) and pre-chopped half of the lemon (along with the peel) are added. The mixture is put on low heat for 10 minutes, after which it is sieved and drunk in a third of the glass before each meal. The children's dose is one to four tablespoons of this broth (depending on age).
Collection 2. Dried chamomile inflorescences, mint, lemon balm and chopped valerian root are combined in a ratio of 3: 2: 2: 1, respectively. Pour boiling water over one tablespoon of this mixture and leave for ten minutes. You need to drink the medicine in the morning on an empty stomach and before bedtime, one glass each.
Collection 3. The collection of heather leaves, cinnamon grass, thyme, chopped valerian root and chicory will help to quickly relieve tension and calm the nerves. Take the ingredients in a 2: 2: 2: 2: 1 ratio and mix. One tablespoon of such a mixture should be brewed in a glass of boiling water for half an hour, then strain and take 150 ml three times a day.
Treatment of a nervous tic with lotions
If a nervous tic affects the eyes, traditional medicine recommends making medicinal lotions from strong tea, chamomile or wormwood infusion. Cotton pads are impregnated with these agents, and then applied to tired and irritated eyes.
A popular remedy for lotions for nervous eye tics is honey. A tablespoon of this healing product is diluted in a glass of warm water, stirred well, moistened with cotton pads in this liquid and applied to the eyes. The procedure should last at least 15 minutes.
For nervous tics, you can also apply natural fabric pads stuffed with dried medicinal plants (chamomile, lavender and rose hips) to the affected areas. They release tension and relax, so it is recommended to put them next to your head while you sleep.
Essential oils of geranium, lavender or cinnamon help well with nervous tics.
