The needles of young coniferous trees (pine, fir, juniper or spruce) can be used as an effective folk remedy for the treatment of pericarditis. A healing broth is prepared from them: needles (5 tablespoons) are brewed in boiling water (500 ml), put on low heat and boiled for 10 minutes. Then the container with the broth should be wrapped and insisted for at least 8 hours. The filtered drug is taken half a glass up to five times a day.

Birch earring tincture is also a good recipe. Choose large earrings, put them in a liter jar about two-thirds of their volume and fill the jar with vodka. After that, you need to close the jar with a nylon lid and leave for two weeks. You do not need to filter the tincture before taking it. Every day you should drink 20 drops of the medicine in 3 doses. It is best to take the tincture before meals - half an hour before. It can help manage heart pain, weakness, and shortness of breath.

There are several alternative methods of treating pericarditis using herbal collections. The most common ones will be listed below.

Method 1. Motherwort grass, marsh creeper grass, hawthorn flowers (3 parts of each ingredient) are combined with chamomile flowers (1 part). The components should be mixed well and pour a tablespoon into a glass of boiling water. The medicine is infused for eight hours. Then it is filtered through a layer of gauze and cotton wool and drunk 100 ml three times a day after meals (after 1 hour).

Method 2. The fruits of anise (2 parts) are mixed with the roots and rhizome of Valerian officinalis, yarrow herb and lemon balm leaves (1 part of each component). Then the mixture (1 tablespoon) is added to a glass of boiling water and left for half an hour. Strain the infusion before taking it. You need to drink it 2-3 times.

Method 3. Pits are removed from the lemon and ground together with the peel in a meat grinder. Then it is mixed with the kernels of apricot kernels, previously wiped to a powdery state. Pelargonium gruel and honey (500 ml) are added to the mixture. Take the medicine before each meal, one tablespoon.

The balms, the recipes for which you read below, are good folk remedies for treating pericarditis and other heart diseases (heart failure, endocarditis, and myocarditis).

Balm 1. In a bottle made of dark glass, mix the tinctures of birch leaves, three-leaf watch, hawthorn fruit and spring adonis herb (200 ml each); add tinctures of plowed steel root, motherwort herb, asparagus, medicinal valerian roots, black poplar buds and wheatgrass rhizomes (100 ml each); Add a tincture of meadowsweet root (400 ml) to the bottle. Drink the medicine three times a day, a tablespoon. It is better to take it before meals (no later than 20 minutes).

Balm 2. 100 ml of tinctures of medicinal dandelion, aspen buds, grass burda, knotweed, hop cones, lemon balm and corn columns are combined in a dark container with tinctures of thyme, spring adonis and peppermint (200 ml each). Take the second balm in the same way as the first.

Rheumatic pericarditis is treated with cornflower tincture. A tablespoon of raw materials is poured with 70-degree alcohol (100 ml) and insisted under a lid for at least 12 days. They drink the medicine in three doses a day, 20 drops each. It is better to take the tincture before meals, 30 minutes in advance. The course of treatment lasts depending on the general health of the patient.

Dry pericarditis, which often occurs as a complication after influenza and other infectious diseases, is treated with honey and rose hips. First you need to prepare the rosehip infusion: pour half a liter of boiling water into a thermos and add a teaspoon of pre-chopped rosehips. Leave the infusion for 8-10 hours, strain and combine with honey (1 tablespoon). This healthy and tasty tea is drunk three times a day for half a glass.

Remember that proper nutrition is very beneficial for the heart. You should always have fish, nuts, herbs, dried fruits, orange and pumpkin juices, raspberries, sea buckthorn, seaweed and dairy products on your table. It is also useful to take bee pollen, fish oil, royal jelly.
