Definition of disease

Such a serious pathology as urolithiasis is accompanied by the appearance of calculi not only in the kidneys, but also in other organs of the urinary system: the bladder and ducts. This disease is often found in different age groups. Depending on the age of a particular patient, the severity of the symptoms of urolithiasis changes. The sand in the kidneys is small stones, which can be calcifications, phosphates, oxalic and uric acid salts. Often there are also cysteine and xanthine stones, which occur when protein metabolism is disturbed.

Due to certain characteristics of changes in the composition of the blood, sand in the kidneys sometimes forms in pregnant women. The beginning of the development of urolithiasis is also facilitated by serious changes in human metabolism. This is typical for an improperly selected diet and a sedentary lifestyle.

For example, eating large amounts of spicy, salty and protein foods always increases the risk of developing the disease. Various pathological structural changes in the urinary tract can also become the root cause of sand in the kidneys, since they prevent the normal excretion of urine from the human body. In addition, the causes of the development of the disease include a genetic predisposition and numerous chronic gastrointestinal diseases.

Such a disease is not always possible to suspect in time, since at the initial stages people practically do not feel discomfort. But when sand comes out along with urine, patients often complain of severe pain. The inflammatory process begins when sand slowly moves through the urinary system, irritating the mucous membranes. Sand can be detected using preventive ultrasound. Various problems associated with urination indicate the presence of sand in the kidneys.

Moving to the bladder through the ureters, the sand is painful. In some cases, even complete emptying does not bring relief to the patient due to the fact that the ducts are heavily clogged. Over time, the urge to urinate becomes frequent, but the urinary excretion process does not occur directly. The patient feels aching, cutting, pulling or sharp pains that can radiate to the upper abdomen or groin.

The composition of urine changes, it becomes dark and cloudy. In the urine of some patients, even with the naked eye, you can see blood particles or purulent discharge. In children, the excretion of sand from the kidneys is often accompanied by a significant increase in temperature, nausea and vomiting. In elderly patients, blood pressure may increase, and noticeable edema appears.

How to remove sand from the kidneys?

The main ways to establish a reliable clinical picture of this pathology include such diagnostic measures as X-ray examination, ultrasound of the urinary tract, urinalysis and complete blood count. After determining the presence of sand in the organs, the doctor prescribes the necessary treatment. In addition, it is imperative to follow a diet, as a fundamental factor in a quick cure, it is also recommended to significantly increase the amount of fluid you drink per day.

Modern pharmacological preparations that dissolve kidney stones are shown for mandatory use. In addition, it is necessary to take various means that effectively relieve inflammatory processes in the organs. Such medicines should also have emollient, reparative and enveloping properties.

Water
Water

This method is the safest, which is especially important for people whose stones have grown to a large size and drinking diuretics or juices can provoke severe pain.

And the method is very simple: it is necessary in advance, even in the evening, to prepare a mug of water and add a little honey to it. In the morning, when you wake up, the first thing you should do is drink this drink. Crystals of honey will gently envelop stones and slowly dissolve them.

Do not add lemon in any case, as it will neutralize honey and there will be no effect!

The duration of admission depends on the size of the stones, for someone 2 weeks will be enough, and someone will have to continue treatment for 3 months.

During therapy, it is recommended to drink freshly squeezed carrot juice. This will greatly speed up the healing process.

Fir oil. For this method, you need to buy any diuretic collection of herbs at the pharmacy, brew it according to the instructions and be sure to add 5 drops of 2.5% essential fir oil to it. Recipe number 3. With oxalates and phosphates in the kidneys, it is recommended to prepare an infusion based on equal parts of melilot grass, fresh madder roots, motherwort grass, lingonberry leaves and immortelle flowers. 400 ml of boiling water will require 2 tbsp. l. chopped and thoroughly mixed mixture of herbs.
