For the treatment of this disease and the relief of its causes, there are various methods aimed at eliminating local manifestations and strengthening the immune system. The treatment regimen for pharyngitis does not provide for strict adherence to bed rest, but it is not recommended to carry the disease "on the legs".

It is most effective to treat pharyngitis with topical methods, using anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and analgesic drugs.

Pharyngitis treatment with Chlorophyllipt

The antimicrobial drug Chlorophyllipt effectively destroys bacteria and prevents them from multiplying, which allows it to be successfully used to treat pharyngitis. The drug is an extract from eucalyptus leaves.

Forms of drugs based on Chlorophyllipt:

• Alcohol solution,
• Oil extract.

The drug is successfully used to destroy staphylococci even in the treatment of pharyngitis, acute respiratory infections, tonsillitis, laryngitis, which are resistant to broad-spectrum antibiotics. A mixture of 1 tbsp is used for rinsing. l. alcohol solution in 200 ml of water.

Chlorophyllipt-based sprays are convenient for treating throat problems in children, on trips, at work.

Lugol and furacilin in the treatment of pharyngitis

Lugol is a drug containing potassium iodide, molecular iodine, and water. Its use, accompanied by glycerin, will avoid overdrying of the oral mucosa. Glycerin softens the surface of the mucous membrane, lugol relieves inflammation. A mixture of lugol with glycerin, produced in the form of a spray, is very convenient to use.

Furacillin is a drug from the group of antiseptics, traditionally used for local surface treatment from pathogenic microorganisms. After treatment with Furacillin, viruses and microbes stop their reproduction. The following dosage forms of drugs are used, in which Furacillin is the main active ingredient:

• Spray,
• Ointment,
• Water or alcohol solution,
• Tablets for preparing an aqueous solution.

The treatment of a sore throat with pharyngitis is carried out mainly with a spray or an aqueous solution of Furacillin.

Beekeeping products for pharyngitis

Beekeeping products are effectively used in the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the respiratory system.

Honey for pharyngitis

For the treatment of pharyngitis, not only traditional drugs are used, but also a mixture of honey with propolis. Inhalation with honey and honey applications are used for acute and chronic forms of pharyngitis.

Recipe for honey with garlic for pharyngitis:

• Mix finely chopped garlic clove with buckwheat honey.
• For 20 minutes, heat the mixture over low heat until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
• Dilute the resulting syrup with water, drain, cool.
• Take 1 tbsp. l. with a frequency of once an hour.

Recipe for honey with spruce buds:

• Rinse the buds, boil, strain.

Propolis for pharyngitis

Propolis is a biologically active substance of natural origin that has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial effect and affects the regeneration of organs and tissues, the process of general recovery of the body.

Propolis pharyngitis treatment recipe:

• Grind the propolis, lower the resulting crumb into a glass of water to separate impurities that should float to the surface.
• Separate the propolis that has settled to the bottom from the water and fill it with 96% alcohol (15 mg of propolis will require 50 ml of alcohol).
• The propolis is insisted for 7 days, shaking regularly, and strain through a paper filter.
• Mix the tincture with peach and glycerin oil in a 1: 2 ratio.
• Lubricate the mucous membrane of the nose and mouth, cleared of mucus, obtained with the mixture for 2 weeks. One application is enough to obtain a therapeutic effect.

For rinsing the throat and instilling in the nasopharynx, a 10% alcohol solution of propolis is used. Dissolve 40 drops of propolis solution (a teaspoon) in 1/4 cup of water, drip 5 drops into the nose, gently pulling them in as deeply as possible. Rinse the throat with the same solution and swallow the solution, which makes it possible to simultaneously sanitize the stomach.

Treatment is carried out for a month 3 times / day 30 minutes before meals. This method is contraindicated for those who are allergic to bee products.

Lizobact will cure pharyngitis

Lizobact is a drug from the pharmacological group of immunomodulators, which includes in its spectrum of action and treatment of diseases with symptoms such as cough and sore throat. Available in pill form, it has no contraindications even for children and pregnant women.

Substances that make up Lizobact:

• Pyridoxine - promotes the speedy regeneration of the mucous membrane;
• Lysozyme is an active antimicrobial enzyme that is normally produced by the human body.

It is recommended to take Lizobact if your own body does not sufficiently produce this enzyme. To achieve the greatest effect, the drug must be absorbed in the oral cavity without chewing or swallowing it. Lizobact enhances the effect of antibiotics and antimicrobial agents while taking it.

Lizobact is an excellent remedy for the treatment of chronic sluggish pharyngitis. The frequency of admission is 2 pieces 3-4 r / day. Pharyngitis, accompanied by a dry cough, is treated with Lizobact in combination with other drugs.

Miramistin from pharyngitis

Pharyngitis treatment with Chlorhexidine

Chlorhexidine is the basis of many pharyngitis preparations due to its antiseptic and antibacterial properties. This agent prevents the growth of pathogenic bacteria. Dosage forms that may include Chlorhexidine:

• Spray,
• Gel,
• Rinse solution,
• Tablets.

The appointment of Chlorhexidine is carried out by an otolaryngologist, who determines the number of rinses and the concentration of the solution. Most often, the drug is used at a frequency of 3 r / day, when a burning sensation in the throat appears, it is recommended to dilute it. In all other cases, 1 tbsp. l. Chlorhexidine gargle for 20-30 seconds. The drug is not intended for oral administration, it is used only for topical use.

If the patient accidentally swallows it, precautions should be taken:

• Drink 200 ml of water;
• Take activated charcoal to neutralize the toxic drug.

In uncomplicated cases of pharyngitis, lozenges with a pleasant taste (Strepsils, Sebidin, Faringosept) are used, which effectively help in milder forms of the disease.
