Chirias in the nose and in the ear
Chiriev definition
The process of inflammation of the hair follicle and sebaceous gland, passing into the purulent-necrotic stage, causes the development of chiries. The main reason for the appearance of an abscess is staphylococcal infection, which develops due to a decrease in the body's immune defenses.
The main symptoms of the development of chiriev are swelling of the skin, itching, hyperemia. Today in medicine, there is a lot of information about the causes of chiries, about their symptoms. This disease is effectively treated thanks to the accumulated experience and an integrated approach.
Chiria in the nose
Boils develop in any part of the body covered with hairs. Much less often, but still, chiria can infect the epithelium inside the nose. The development of the boil is divided into several stages, each of which takes several days to complete. The first stage - itching in the nose, numbness, tingling sensation and the presence of a foreign body, it lasts for several days.
The second stage is noticeable by the appearance of a small swelling protruding above the surface of the skin, a dense, painful tubercle. For 2-3 days, the inflammation increases, the chirium increases, there is severe pain and swelling. The skin on the nose turns red, and the swelling can spread to the cheek and upper lip. On the fourth day, in the center of the abscess, you can see a white point - a sign of the appearance of pus. Sometimes the body temperature rises and malaise appears.
With the onset of the third, final stage, the abscess breaks through on its own or is opened with the help of surgical instruments. After the pus comes out, the pain subsides, the swelling and hyperemia in the boil area decreases. It will take about a week to repair the skin inside the nose. Many people are frivolous about this infectious disease.
Doctors recommend taking seriously the treatment of abscesses. The furuncle can spread to other parts of the body, there is even a risk of blood poisoning.
An abscess in the nose can cause irreparable harm to the body. Infected, blood from the vessels of the face rushes into the vessels of the brain. Infection in the brain leads to the development of severe complications. Inflammation of the meninges may occur, and brain inflammation is the most dangerous. There are frequent cases of impaired blood flow in the vessels (thrombosis) that provide nutrition to the brain.
When a boil appears in the nose, you should find out the number of leukocytes in the blood. Treatment of a boil depends on the degree of inflammation; one abscess can be treated on an outpatient basis. With multiple rashes of chiriev in the nose, hospitalization is needed. In the initial stages of inflammation at home, ordinary or boric alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and a clean bandage are used to treat the "young" chiria.
After ripening and opening, the chirii are washed with peroxide, a bandage with a concentrated salt solution is applied, and then a tampon with any ointments, the action of which contributes to rapid healing. In the event that the chirium does not break through on its own, there is always a risk of spreading the infection and you may need a doctor's help, taking antibiotics, intramuscular injections.
Chirii in the ear
The harbingers of chiria in the ear is itching, a feeling of ear congestion is sometimes manifested by noise in the ears. As they mature, there is severe pain on palpation; some people have a fever. It is possible to prevent the development of a boil if you carefully care for your ears, follow the rules of hygiene every day.
It is also important to avoid damage to the skin inside the auricle, not to use sharp objects to clean the ear canal from sulfur, because even the smallest abrasions and scratches become foci, where there are all conditions for the growth of bacteria. Even if there are the smallest wounds, they should be treated with iodine, alcohol, or another antiseptic solution.
Usually, one chirium forms in the ear, but if this happens often, does not go away for a long time, or several abscesses are found, then qualified help from a dermatologist is needed. Perhaps he will recommend passing a detailed blood test, confirming or denying any serious chronic disease that caused the development of furunculosis.
Among the reasons why a person has a purulent-necrotic process in the hair follicle and sebaceous gland of the ear is diabetes, decreased body resistance, hypovitaminosis, insufficient nutrition, antacid gastritis, colitis, sudden overheating or hypothermia of the body, prolonged physical overstrain.
Furunculosis can manifest itself at any age; it affects overweight adults, children and young men. A healthy lifestyle and respect for your health are the key to a happy life without diseases.
