Toadflax belongs to the genus of annual and perennial plants of the plantain family. The herb got its name due to the fact that its leaves resemble flax leaves. There are 80 to 150 plant species, they have spread in the Northern Hemisphere, along the shores of the Mediterranean.
Common toadflax. The plant blooms from July to September, the seeds ripen in August. This species loves to spread along the steppe slopes, wastelands, ditches, and chooses roadsides.
