Herbal Recipes

To begin with, we emphasize that traditional methods of treatment are relevant only in the case of a functional ovarian cyst (follicular or yellow body). More complex neoplasms, especially those of unknown and possibly malignant nature, require immediate examination and traditional treatment. If a woman often has follicular cysts and dissolves by itself, folk recipes can become a worthy alternative to hormones and anti-inflammatory drugs.

Treatment of ovarian cysts with medicinal plants:

Burdock
Burdock
  • Burdock. Collect the young, fleshy burdock leaves and squeeze the juice out (juicer is best). Store the juice in a glass container in the refrigerator, and take it for a month three times a day before meals, 2 tablespoons. Remember that every three days you need to prepare a fresh portion of burdock juice, since over time it loses some of its beneficial properties;

  • Elecampane. From this medicinal plant, you can prepare a miraculous kvass for the treatment of follicular ovarian cysts. Fold in a three-liter jar 100 g of elecampane root and one tablespoon of honey and yeast, fill to the top with clean water, cover with gauze and keep in a dark, cool place for 2-3 days. Strain the finished kvass and drink half a glass 4 times a day immediately after meals for a month or longer, depending on the ultrasound readings;
  • Celandine. Mix a glass of liquid flower honey with a glass of freshly squeezed celandine juice and a quarter glass of propolis alcohol tincture. You need to store this medicine in the refrigerator in a glass container, and take one teaspoon 20-30 minutes before meals 3 times a day for 1-3 months, until complete recovery occurs. Be careful not to exceed the dosage: treatment of follicular ovarian cysts with celandine is very effective, but can be dangerous, since the plant is poisonous;
  • Cinquefoil goose. Steam two tablespoons of dried cinquefoil with half a liter of boiling water, cover the saucepan with a lid and leave for 2-3 hours, then strain the infusion, and drink half a glass before meals 3 times a day for 1-3 months;
  • Walnut. The partitions of a walnut, as well as unripe fruits, contain substances that normalize the hormonal background. Two methods can be used to treat follicular ovarian cysts. First: boil 4 tablespoons of partitions in three glasses of boiling water for half an hour, strain, divide the broth into 4 equal parts and drink during the day before meals. Treat this way for a month, or as long as it takes until recovery. Second: take 10 pieces of green, unripe walnuts, chop finely, put in a half-liter jar, fill with vodka and leave in a dark, dry place for 2 weeks. This tincture should be taken 1 tablespoon three times a day before meals for 1-3 months;
  • Kalina and honey. In a glass jar, mix 100 ml of liquid flower honey and the same amount of freshly squeezed viburnum berry juice. Store the medicine in the refrigerator and take 1 teaspoon three times a day 20 minutes before meals for at least two months.

Alternative treatment of ovarian cysts with herbal preparations:

  • Collection number 1: rose hips, wormwood, sweet cherry, string, leuzea, chamomile, elecampane, immortelle and yarrow;
  • Collection number 2: hawthorn fruits, currant leaves, wormwood, nettle, thyme, peppermint, ashberry;
  • Collection number 3: rowan berries, viburnum bark, chamomile, motherwort, stonecrop, ashweed, shepherd's purse, cuff, Rhodiola pink;
  • Collection number 4: chamomile, nettle, wormwood, yarrow, string, leuzea, elecampane, shepherd's purse;
  • Collection number 5: meadowsweet, raspberry leaves and peony petals.

The components of any collection are mixed in equal proportions. For one liter of boiling water, you will need 2 tablespoons of the collection. Prepare the infusion in the evening, preferably in a thermos, and over the next day drink it all, dividing it into equal parts, half an hour before meals. Every 2 months, you need to take a break for two weeks, and then start treating the follicular cyst using another collection from the list. In a year, you can get rid of relapses forever.

Prepare the tincture for 10 days in a cool, dry place, then filter and consume 1 tablespoon three times a day half an hour before meals, dissolving the medicine in half a glass of water for convenience.

  • Onion swabs. Squeeze a core with a diameter of 1.5-2 centimeters from a young onion, and put it in honey in the morning. In the evening, without rubbing, wrap the core of the onion in a piece of sterile gauze and insert it into the vagina as deep as possible, leaving a piece of gauze outside for easy removal. When you wake up, remove and discard the tampon. Treatment of a follicular ovarian cyst with this method is carried out for two weeks in a row, after which the cyst usually completely resolves;
  • Wormwood compresses. Before going to bed, steam a small bunch of fresh wormwood with boiling water, wait until the grass cools down a little, wring it out and wrap it in gauze, attach it to the lower abdomen and wrap it in a warm scarf. Hold the compress for at least two hours, and then remove it and immediately fall asleep without getting out of bed. Repeat these procedures for 2-3 weeks in a row;
  • Beeswax ointment. In a small enamel saucepan, heat 1 cup of sunflower oil, put a matchbox-sized piece of beeswax there, wait for the wax to melt completely. Then take the yolk of a pre-boiled egg, crush it and throw it into the saucepan gradually, one tiny piece at a time. In the process, the ointment will foam and shoot, this is normal. Strain the finished medicine through sterile gauze, cool and put in the refrigerator. For the treatment of follicular ovarian cysts, soak sterile tampons with ointment and insert into the vagina at night for a month;
  • Baths with baby soap. Grate a third of a briquette of high-quality baby soap on a fine grater, mix this mass with four raw eggs, pour into a bowl and add 3 liters of hot water there. You need to sit in the baths every evening, starting from the tenth day of the menstrual cycle (we count from the first day of menstruation) and until the first day of the next. Treatment of a follicular ovarian cyst in this way is carried out for 2-3 cycles in a row, until the disease completely disappears.

General recommendations for the treatment of ovarian cysts

You can resort to the traditional method of treatment only if your gynecologist agrees with this. Decoctions, tinctures and home procedures are not a substitute for full diagnostics and hormone therapy, especially when it comes to a difficult case, frequent relapses or a pregnant patient.

During the treatment of follicular cysts, physical exertion, sudden movements, jumping and bending should be avoided. It is also recommended to refrain from active sex life. The main thing - remember, the guarantee of women's health lies in a regular preventive visit to a gynecologist. This is the only way to timely detect and cure many dangerous diseases.
