General rules for making yeast masks
For the preparation of masks, all types of yeast are used: raw, granular, dry, in the form of capsules (beer). Raw yeast is most useful because it has a higher concentration of nutrients. To comply with the exact proportions, it must be borne in mind that 1 tsp. dry yeast is equal to 10 g of raw product.
The yeast must be fresh, "live". To check their freshness, a pinch of yeast is mixed with water, kefir and placed in a warm place for 10-15 minutes. If foam appears on the surface of the liquid, then the main component of the mask is fresh.
To prepare the mask, take a container, the volume of which is several times larger than the initial volume of the prepared product, since yeast retains the ability to increase the volume of liquid.
To increase the therapeutic effect, the water in the recipes for masks is replaced with a decoction of medicinal herbs. For blondes and fair-haired girls, a decoction of chamomile is perfect, for brunettes and brown-haired women - a decoction of nettle.
The general rule for all masks is that first the yeast diluted with liquid should stand for 40-60 minutes, "come up", and then the rest of the mask components are added to this mass. If a mask with such ingredients is being made for the first time, an allergy test should be done - apply 2-3 drops of the solution to the elbow fold, and monitor the skin reaction for an hour. If there is no redness or swelling, the mask can be safely applied to the hair.
How to apply a yeast mask correctly?
For the best effect, you need to keep your hair clean and freshly washed. It is even better if they are slightly damp, not completely dry.

- Spread the entire mass through the hair with a comb with rare teeth, trying to do this evenly. It is advisable to avoid wetting the ends of the hair to avoid drying it out.
- To create a thermal effect and full-fledged fermentation of the components of the mask, cover the hair with plastic wrap, additionally cover with a towel.
