Diet menu number 6
Diet table number 6 was developed by the Soviet scientist Pevzner and is curative. It is prescribed for people suffering from urolithiasis and gout. The essence of the diet is to exclude from the diet foods rich in oxalic acid and purines - sausages, young meat, nuts, legumes, rhubarb, fatty meat and fish broths, as well as chocolate and cocoa. At the same time, the emphasis in nutrition is on fruits, vegetables and dairy products. The amount of salt consumed on this diet should be significantly reduced.
You should also somewhat limit the proportion of fats and protein foods in the menu, and in the case of obesity - and fast carbohydrates too. Meals, at least four times a day. It should be noted that the diet table number 6 provides for the mandatory preliminary boiling of fish, meat and poultry - this is necessary for the complete elimination of purines from the food. The rest of the cooking is normal.
Diet table 6: what is possible, what is not?
During diet number 6, the following foods and dishes are recommended:
- Rye and wheat bread made from first and second grade flour.
- Salads from pickled and fresh vegetables.
- Potato soups with cereals, cabbage soup, vegetarian borscht.
- Poultry, fish, meat - lean, baked or boiled (no more than three times a week).
- Cottage cheese, fermented milk products, milk and dishes made from it.
- Any cereals in small quantities.
- One egg per day (cooked in any way).
- Any vegetables with the exception of legumes.
- Plenty of berries and fruits.
- Fruit and milk jelly and creams.
- Sauces with vegetable broth, dairy or tomato.
- Honey, candy, marmalade, jam.
- Lemons, oranges, grapefruits (in moderation). Alkaline mineral waters.
It is necessary to exclude from the diet:
- Mushroom, strong fish and meat broths.
- Canned food, smoked meats, sausages, sausages, bacon.
- Young meat.
- Lamb, beef and cooking fats.
- Bean and sorrel soups.
- Kidneys, liver, tongue, lungs (all offal).
- Salted and dried fish.
- Spicy snack cheeses.
- Pickled and salted vegetables.
- Strong tea, cocoa, coffee, chocolate, cranberries, raspberries.

Approximate menu of diet number 6 for one day: breakfast - vegetable salad with vegetable oil, carrot pudding with apples and millet, soft-boiled egg, tea. Second breakfast - rosehip decoction. Lunch - milk noodle soup, jelly, fried potato cutlets. Afternoon snack - fresh apples. Dinner - stuffed with vegetables and rice cabbage rolls, tea, cheesecakes. At night, you can drink a decoction of wheat bran.
Uric acid diathesis and diet number 6
Diet table number 6 is recommended by many specialists in urine acid diathesis, as well as urolithiasis. The main goal of this diet is to normalize the metabolism of purines, to reduce the concentration of uric acid and its salts in the body. The diet consists of foods containing a minimum of oxalic acid and purines. The menu is almost exactly the same as for gout.
Diet number six for gout
This diet is one of fifteen nutritional systems developed by Soviet scientist Mikhail Pevzner, and is often prescribed for gout.
While following diet number 6 with gout, it is allowed to use:
- Rye, white and wheat bread.
- Borsch, beetroot, pickle, cabbage soup, fruit and vegetarian soups.
- Low-fat varieties of fish and meat (no more than twice a week).
- Various fruits, berries, vegetables in any form of preparation or natural form.
- Dishes from pasta or cereals (in small quantities).
- One egg per day.
- Dishes made from milk, cottage cheese or lactic acid products.
- Dill and parsley greens, citric acid, sour cream, milk and tomato sauces.
- Weak tea, rosehip decoction, mineral water (alkaline).
- Butter and vegetable oil.
Are categorically excluded:
- Smoked meats, canned meat and fish, herring, sausages, kidneys, brains. In addition, liver, lungs, game, veal, mushroom, meat and fish broths, spicy cheese.
- Black pepper, mustard, horseradish, lingonberries, raspberries, figs, legumes, lettuce, sorrel.
- Strong tea, cocoa, natural coffee, chocolate.
- All alcoholic beverages, since the excretion of uric acid by the kidneys is impaired by alcohol.

Recipes for diet number 6
Recipe 1. Vegetable soup. For cooking you need: 20 g of carrots, 75 g of potatoes, 20 g of onions, 5 ml of vegetable oil, 5 g of butter, 3 g of parsley, 5 g of parsley root and 500 ml of water.
Put coarsely chopped potatoes in boiling water and bring it to a boil again. Then add parsley roots, chopped carrots, stewed in butter, chopped onions, sautéed in vegetable oil. Cook vegetables until tender. At the end, sprinkle the soup with herbs.
Recipe 2. Young potatoes in milk sauce. Required products: 40 ml of milk, 10 g of flour, 10 g of butter, 200 g of young potatoes.
Boil potatoes until tender and pour over the sauce. To obtain the sauce, it is necessary to fry the flour in oil until it acquires a light brown color, then pour it over with milk and mix well.
Recipe 3. Curd casserole. Ingredients: 3 g butter, 15 g sour cream, 2 egg whites, 8 g sugar, 50 ml milk, 75 g cottage cheese.
Rub cottage cheese, add sugar, egg white, milk and mix thoroughly. Put the resulting mass on a greased baking sheet and bake. Pour sour cream over the casserole before serving.
Recipe 4. Vegetarian borsch with cheese. For cooking you will need: 10 g of parsley, 10 g of flour, 30 g of butter, 50 g of beets, 60 g of tomatoes, 120 g of potatoes, 60 g of carrots, 100 g of cabbage.
Cut tomatoes (without seeds and skin), carrots and potatoes into slices and chop fresh cabbage. Boil vegetables in boiling water. 15 minutes before the end of cooking, add grated beets, salt and cook the borscht until tender. Sprinkle the dish with parsley and grated cheese before serving.
Recipe 5. Baked cheese cakes. Required products: vanillin, 5 g sour cream, 20 g flour, 10 g sugar, 5 g butter, 1 egg, 40 g semolina, 140 g cottage cheese. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve, add the egg, sugar, semolina and mix everything well. To allow the mass to swell, you need to leave it for 15 minutes. Then cut the cheesecakes and place them on a greased baking sheet. Then add a little cereal to the sour cream, pour it over all the cheese cakes with a thin layer and put it in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. It is better to serve them on the table with sour cream or syrup.
Recipe 6. Curd pancakes. For cooking you will need: 25 ml of milk, 20 g of sour cream, 1 egg, 10 g of flour, 10 g of ghee, 100 g of low-fat cottage cheese.
Mix cottage cheese with eggs, milk and flour. From the resulting dough, bake small pancakes in a greased hot frying pan (about three to four pieces per serving).
