Many men and women have various health problems, against which edema often develops. In some cases, the cause of the swelling can be a hereditary factor. Overweight, as well as diseases of the cardiovascular system, can also provoke the appearance of edema in soft tissues.

To get rid of them, experts recommend using special creams and ointments that can very quickly eliminate any swelling and normalize blood circulation in these places.

Cream-balm of the Mama Comfort trademark is produced in the territory of the Russian Federation. Its manufacturer, in its manufacture, uses an innovative formula, thanks to which this medicinal composition is able to stop the development of varicose veins in the early stages.

The cream gel consists of the following components:

  • venotonic;
  • capillary strengthening;
  • strengthening the walls of blood vessels;
  • normalizing blood circulation and other biologically active substances.

Its high quality has already been appreciated by many patients who have suffered from vein and vascular diseases for many years. Due to its safety and high degree of hygiene, such a cream gel can be used by both pregnant and lactating women and young children.

Cream-balm "mom comfort" is a hypoallergenic agent. It perfectly copes with both swelling and fatigue and heaviness in the legs. The cream is able to eliminate even severe pain, usually caused by prolonged walking in high heels or active physical activity.

Heparin ointment for edema

In some cases, only medications related to direct anticoagulants can cope with edema. The most effective remedy, the action of which is aimed precisely at eliminating edema, is heparin ointment.

Heparin ointment is prescribed by doctors in various cases:

  • with the appearance of edema;
  • with injuries of the limbs;
  • in the presence of hemorrhoids (external);
  • at the initial stage of varicose veins and thrombophlebitis;
  • with hematomas and inflammation of the lymph nodes, etc.

The heparin ointment contains various substances that have an anti-inflammatory, anti-edema and anti-thrombotic effect on problem areas of the body:

  • benzocaine (relieves pain);
  • sodium heparin (prevents the formation of blood clots, and, if present, promotes resorption);
  • benzyl nicotinate (dilates blood vessels).

When edema appears, heparin ointment must be applied to the skin surface (in problem areas) with a thin layer. Carefully, with light rotational movements, the drug should be rubbed into the skin. Depending on the size of the edema, the ointment is used from 2 to 3 times a day, for 1-2 weeks. If the edema is formed as a result of mechanical action (when falling or hitting), the ointment should be used only a day later, in order to avoid the development of internal bleeding.

Before proceeding with the treatment of edema, it is better to consult a doctor who will determine their origin and recommend a dosage. This must be done without fail, since heparin ointment has a number of contraindications that you need to familiarize yourself with before starting the treatment course. If the patient has been treating edema with heparin ointment for a long time, he needs to regularly take a blood test for coagulation.

Patients may experience various side effects:

  • allergic reactions;
  • hyperemia;
  • thrombocytopenia;
  • poor blood clotting, etc.

It is very careful to apply heparin ointment to pregnant and lactating women. During this period, patients should be under the supervision of the attending physician, who, at the first alarming symptoms, will cancel this drug.

Recipe 1

To get rid of swelling, you can use homemade creams.

To make such a cream, you will need to purchase various components:

  • oils (cocoa, tea tree, geranium, shea, sesame, amaranth, etc.);
  • extracts (horse chestnut, etc.);
  • emulsifiers;
  • menthol;
  • hydrodat;
  • potassium sorbate, etc.

All solid components must be melted in a water bath, but do not bring the mass to a boil (the maximum temperature should not exceed 75 ° C). All oils, emulsifiers and other components should be added to the thick mixture. At the final stage, you need to combine the thick substance with water and mix them until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.

After preparing the cream, it is necessary to wait some time so that the mixture has completely cooled down and acquired a thick consistency. During solidification, the cream should be distributed in dry and sterile containers (preferably glass), sealed and placed in a cool place.

Recipe 2

A homemade cream containing geranium and tea tree oils is most effective in treating edema. The use of this tool is recommended for people who spend most of the day on their feet. Such a cream will very quickly eliminate the heaviness in the limbs, and also relieve the feeling of fatigue.

You can use a homemade anti-edema cream for a month (until the puffiness disappears completely). The cream should be applied to problem areas no more than 2 times a day, making light circular movements. This mixture is well absorbed into the skin and does not leave greasy marks on clothes. Thanks to perfectly matched components, the cream does not cause irritation or other side effects.
