Treatment of Helicobacter pylori with folk remedies
Helicobacter pylori infection is a dangerous disease that occurs when infected with special microorganisms. Helicobacter pylori bacteria cause stomach pain, heartburn, heaviness, belching, nausea and vomiting. In some cases, the bacteria on the mucous membranes are inactive. But when the immune systems fail, they negatively affect the digestive system as a whole. Serious consequences of this disease are often gastritis, ulcers and fatal oncological neoplasms.
This disease is transmitted through the household, as well as through contact with an infected person through mucus and saliva. It has been proven that such spiral-shaped bacteria do not die in the acidic environment of the stomach, and they feel comfortable on its walls. Being on the mucous membranes, microorganisms secrete toxic waste products.
The main method of treatment for helicobacteriosis is modern complex therapy, which includes two different antibiotics. Traditional medicine has its own methods of dealing with these dangerous microorganisms. Such methods contribute to the normalization of gastric juice, and also create the necessary protection against Helicobacter pylori on the mucous membrane. They perfectly eliminate severe pain and various discomfort in the stomach.
As a rule, for the treatment of this disease, all kinds of folk remedies are used, which are taken in the form of healing decoctions and tinctures. Often, various complex collections of special medicinal plants are prescribed. It is they who have a multidirectional effect not only on the cause of the appearance of bacteria, but also on the process of their manifestation in the body. It should be noted that treatment with folk remedies is recommended to be carried out in certain courses in order to speed up healing and prevent the progression of the disease.

- At home, you can prepare an aqueous solution of propolis. This will require 10 g of the substance, which is put into the freezer for half an hour. This will crush it faster. After being removed from the freezer, propolis is crushed into powder, added to a glass of water and kept in a water bath for 60 minutes. The finished solution is cooled and filtered. It is not taken in its pure form. Take 10-15 drops of an aqueous solution of propolis, stir them in 100 ml of water and drink 10 minutes before meals. The shelf life of the finished solution is 10 days. This recipe is good because there is no alcohol component in its composition, so it can be used to treat children.

For the preparation of medicines based on propolis, you need to use only pure raw materials. Before crushing the beekeeping product, it should be frozen. Then the grated mass is poured with cool water. All dirt and all other impurities will be on the surface. They just need to be drained along with the liquid. The propolis remaining at the bottom is slightly dried and used to prepare a tincture or other medicine.
If you prepare the tincture without breaking the recipe, and then take it according to the instructions, then you can quickly achieve recovery. However, before taking the product for the first time, an allergic reaction test must be performed. To do this, you just need to chew on a small piece of propolis and then swallow it. If, after some time, redness appears on the skin, or dizziness occurs, then treatment with bee products should be abandoned.
Reception of alcohol tincture of propolis with Helicobacter pylori allows you to get rid of nausea, heartburn, belching, bloating and dyspepsia. The recommended dosage for an adult is 10 drops, and for a child 5 drops. To enhance the healing effect of the tincture and make its taste more pleasant, you can add lemon and honey to it. The maximum effect in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori can be achieved if you take an aqueous tincture of propolis and Omeprazole for 21 days.

Preventive measures
- Folk remedies have certain disadvantages. They boil down to proper nutrition, adherence to a gentle diet, taking herbal remedies and following the rules of hygiene. All this is very good, but there is simply no direct evidence that folk remedies really help get rid of Helicobacter pylori. However, you can stop the symptoms of the disease with their help.
-
The diet should be nutritious. In order for the immune system to function fully and maintain the necessary acidity in the stomach, a person must eat properly. Whole, unprocessed foods should be on the menu.
As a source of protein used:
- Red meat. It is good if the animal received grass as a food source, and not artificial feed.
- Poultry meat without skin.
- Moderate amount of pork.
- Moderate or significant amount of fish.
- Be sure to eat fresh vegetables and fruits. You need to eat a variety of plant foods, among which broccoli must be present. They contain a substance called suforan. It contributes to the destruction of Helicobacter pylori.
- Legumes should be on the menu: beans and lentils.
- Sources of complex carbohydrates can be grains, vegetables, cereals.
- Be sure to drink water. You should consume at least 6-8 glasses of pure water per day. In summer, in hot weather, the volumes of fluid increase. That is, the more intensively a person loses water along with sweat, the more he should drink. This is a must for a healthy diet.
-
It is not recommended to eat manufactured food. Commercially processed foods lose vitamins and minerals. Very few useful substances remain in them. We are talking about such products that exist in nature in one form, but at the factory they are radically changed by introducing chemical components into their composition. To understand how harmful and modified food is, you should familiarize yourself with its composition. The longer the list, the more it has been processed. These are the products that are located on the central shop windows. Normal foods include dry beans, fruits and vegetables, brown rice, bulk foods, and other foods that are mono-ingredients.
- You should stop eating fast food and fast food. They contain a large amount of preservatives and substances harmful to health. Such products can hardly even be called food.
- The more natural the food that a person consumes, the stronger his immunity will be. Any chemical additives suppress the body's natural defenses.
- Hygiene rules must be followed. To prevent infection with Helicobacter pylori, you should thoroughly wash your hands, as well as dishes and other appliances used for eating and preparing food. Wash and wash your hands with warm water and soap. Do not let anyone use your kitchen utensils. You need to eat only those dishes of which the person is confident. Fruits and vegetables should be washed with warm water and soap and then rinsed thoroughly.
-
Probiotics must be taken. Probiotics contain beneficial bacteria and yeast, which are normally present in the human body and ensure the functioning of its digestive system. These are lactobacilli, acidophilus, bifidobacteria, boulardi saccharomycetes. Probiotics can be taken as a food supplement or as a separate component.
- Foods that are sources of probiotics: kefir, sauerkraut, pickled cucumbers, kombucha, yogurt, kimchi, tempeh, asparagus, miso soup, leeks and onions. They can be included in your menu 2-3 times a week.
- You can also eat probiotic foods such as cereals, bananas, honey, and garlic.
-
You need to eat food of plant origin. Many herbal medicines have probiotic properties. They destroy harmful flora, promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria. It is believed that taking cranberry juice prevents the fixation of Helicobacter pylori to the gastric wall. Therefore, it is recommended to drink 250 ml of cranberry juice every day. There is also evidence that some herbs and spices have a detrimental effect on Helicobacter pylori, so the following components can be used for cooking:
- Cinnamon.
- Fenugreek.
- Oregano.
- Ginger, which, among other things, has an anti-ulcer effect.
- Curry and turmeric.
- Thyme.
- Cayenne pepper.
-
Herbal supplements must be taken. Herbal-based medicines are also used to prevent Helicobacter pylori. These can be drugs such as:
- DGL is a variety of licorice that is obtained from deglycyrrhizinated licorice root. Take the drug in the form of chewable tablets, 1-2 pieces, 3 times a day. There is evidence that licorice increases blood pressure, but this drug does not have such a side effect.
- Common skullcap and Baikal skullcap have an antibacterial effect. Common skullcap helps to slow down blood clotting, so before taking it, you should consult with a specialist. The Baikal skullcap lowers the level of blood pressure and also affects the level of sugar in the blood. Therefore, his reception must be agreed with the doctor.
- Korean red ginseng has been shown to be effective against H. pylori. The studies were carried out on laboratory rats. Taking this remedy requires prior medical consultation, as it can affect blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
- You need to include in the menu such healthy products as: green tea, manuka honey, red wine. All of them were subjected to research, during which it was possible to establish their anti-Helicobacter activity. However, it should be taken into account that the experiments were carried out on inoculations of bacteria cultures, and not on living objects. Therefore, there is no exact dosage recommendation for these products. You can drink honey and green tea as much as you want, but wine should be limited.
To increase the effectiveness of the prevention and treatment of Helicobacter pylori, several methods listed above can be simultaneously combined with each other. Improvement will certainly come if you stick to proper nutrition, use healthy seasonings and spices during cooking, and take probiotics. After 2 months of such treatment, it will be necessary to undergo an examination again and check whether the bacteria are present in the body or whether it was possible to get rid of them. If Helicobacter pylori is found, you need to take antibiotics and drugs that help reduce the acidity of gastric juice.
If severe pain continues to torment, then you should inform your doctor about it. Charmingly you need to see a doctor when the feces darken. This may indicate the presence of blood impurities in them. If vomiting with blood joins, then it is necessary to call an ambulance brigade.
