The flowers and seeds of the egg capsule boast the presence of nymphaline, gallic acid and tannins.

Small egg capsule

The pale yellow flowers of the plant do not exceed 3 cm in diameter. Flowering occurs from June to September. The little egg-capsule is mainly found in Siberia, Mongolia, Northern Europe, as well as in the Far East and China.
